Is this a genuine product? Happy to send it back to manufacturer for testing ? ### ⭐ terrible quality and not new! *by C***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2020* When the product arrived, apart from the terrible quality (not even worth 5 pounds honestly), the product came with a sticky stain inside the coffee filter, which is inside the pot, so it was definitely opened by someone else before arriving at my hands. Additionally, the filter (I repeat, that thing that is INSIDE the pot and should definitely be hard to get harmed by transportation), has some weird scratches. After the huge troubles for getting a refund because of my current situation (I'm quarantining because I just arrived to the UK) and my huge need for a coffee pot, I decided to keep it and I put it in the washing machine to make sure it was thoroughly disinfected. Surprise surprise, some weird black sort of dirt (i guess is paint coming off??? I have no idea honestly), started appearing. I have never had problems having coffee pots in dishwashers before, no matter how cheap. The first Mocha pot - same company - I bought a few years did the job it was meant to do. I had it for 3+ years but had to sadly replace it as its handle broke. I opted for the same product which I bought a few weeks ago. I have to say I am very disspointed with the product this time around.The mocha pot feels like it is made of a slightly lesser quality material. It's not as sturdy as my first mocha pot. And the worse bit is, it does not work as well as the first pot did. To be precise, not all the water filters through the coffee and there is always residual water. I have tried everything that I could, tightening it better, less coffee, more coffee, thorough cleaning but with no success. Having loved the previous mocha pot from the same brand, I have to say I am left with a bitter taste this time round.
