Totally brilliant
If your cat has skin disorders, diarrhoea or is prone to vomiting, then this food is highly recommended (useful too if recovering from surgery). The bottom line is that it is formulated to combat dietary sensitivity or intolerance. It's ideal for inflammatory bowel disease too. We have an elderly 'rescue' cat and she can be very sensitive to certain foods so we started feeding her this on the suggestion from a vet. It really does work and it's formulated to be highly appetizing to cats. Normally you would have to gradually introduce new feedstuffs to cats over the course of a week, but this is so gentle on their system that you can switch to it fully quite quickly without causing major problems. It is now her favourite food and she'll happily eat it exclusively but we like to provide some alternatives just to add some variety. In any event, if you only want to feed kitty with this it is ok because it is a 'complete' food, and it has decent levels of EPA/DHA omega-3 fatty acids. In case anyone is interested I lifted this from the Royal Canin site: - COMPOSITION: meat and animal derivatives (chicken 34%), cereals (rice 6%), oils and fats, minerals, derivatives of vegetable origin, various sugars. ADDITIVES (per kg): Nutritional additives: Vitamin D3: 370 IU, E1 (Iron): 7 mg, E2 (Iodine): 0.5 mg, E4 (Copper): 3 mg, E5 (Manganese): 2 mg, E6 (Zinc): 21 mg - Technological additives: Pentasodium triphosphate: 3 g, Calcium sulphate: 2.8 g, Cassia gum: 3 g. The reason this food is so easy for cats to digest is because it only uses certain proportions and types of protein and carbohydrates, in this case chicken and rice (and it has absolutely no lactose content). That drastically reduces the amount of allergens that can cause dietary problems. Cats love it, it's a complete food and it's hugely gentle on their digestive system. Well worth a go if your little friend is struggling a bit. ps - yes, Royal Canin (French company) were caught sponsoring Bear baiting contests in Ukraine in 2013 but claim they didn't fully appreciate what that entailed and they have now sorted it out.

Perfect :)
I have a silver tabby British short hair who has had runny poo from day one. For the last 2 years she has been on James well beloved, this kinda worked and we had a mixture of days with normal poos or runny poos! Then she just had the runs constantly and stunk the house out (she's an indoor kitty) I researched on the Internet and tried this, I swapped immediately I didn't mix at all. For maybe 4 days she had water poos 😁then she cleared up her poos are perfect 😁 she looks healthier too 😀 expensive yes but worth it for her health. I do have 3 other kitties who are on James and feeding separately was hard to begin with but now instead of having food down constantly they all get fed twice a day. Skyla (my silver tabby just trots in to the hall at feeding time while my other kitties feed in the kitchen.

My cat is so much better
My cat had really bad enteritis. The vet put him on antibiotics but they did not help. She then took blood tests and gave him stronger antibiotics together with five packs of this sensitivity cat food. The antibiotics didn't work and once the food had gone my cat was still crying and spitting due to the pain he was in. I thought I would try changing his diet and bought some more of the sensitivity cat food on the internet as the vet was charging too much for it. My cat is so much better since I changed to this combined with natural cat food. There is no sign of any pain, the diarrhea has cleared up and his coat is soft and shiny. A word of warning though - if you decide to give your cat "natural" cat food it might be best to ensure that the packet says it is a "complete" food otherwise your cat won't be getting all the nutrients it needs.

ABC Animal Sanctuary “Wish List” Item
This is a gift item and I did not use it as it was purchased for the Alexandra Bastedo ABC Animal Sanctuary in England but I am told that this and all items they receive are excellent products. Alexandra was an actress with a varied career and starred in the 1960’s British espionage & action adventure (w/sci-fi) television series The Champions. This item was purchased as a gift off her ABC (Alexandra Bastedo Champions) Animal Sanctuary “Wish List” that you may view here on Amazon and purchase items to help out the animals & sanctuary. This is a registered charity. You can check out her ABC Animal Sanctuary website to see the work being done for the animals and ways to help them out. Sadly, Alexandra Bastedo passed away on January 12, 2014 which you can read more on her website and animal sanctuary website @: [...]

My cat doesn't puke anymore
For months after I adopted my cat, we tried numerous different brands of cat food to get to the bottom of what was making him sick. It took about two weeks to work fully, but after 6 months of being on this diet we can confirm that he pukes no more. It is on the more expensive side so buying it in bulk helps. It is worth it to see our little cat happy and healthy again. We think that he had a fish allergy of is allergic to some of the ingredients in cheaper cat food.

Also ist jetzt Restbestände aufkaufen angesagt.
