Crane Stand Plus Portable Collapsable DJ Laptop Stand

I can't help but feel this is maybe a bit expensive for what it is but it does the job I bought it for perfectly so I can't complain too much. Only takes seconds to put up or collapse for transport using the levers so no tools needed. Nice and sturdy in use and the single strut at the bottom fits nicely under a turntable. I've used this to hold a 15" laptop and also to hold a Roland TR-8 drum machine, there's a little bit of bounce to it as you'd expect when hitting the drum machine buttons but not nearly enough to cause concern or to affect usage. I also like the fact that you can easily adjust the angle of the top tray so you can have your device either sitting flat or angled towards you, something you can't do on most of the lower cost bolt together options. It's a steel frame so not especially lightweight, not so heavy to prevent it being a decent portable solution but if you play out a lot and are likely to have to cart it round regularly it might be worth looking at a (probably more expensive) lighter alternative.

Good solid build. Doesn't droop over extended use. Quick and easy to set up.

The steel construction makes this item feel strong and carries a near 2kg weight tag with it.It doesn't quiet fit into a backpack as expected, so not very portable.The setup is hit and miss and requires a few attempts to setup.If the stand is at the wrong elevation, it will instantly droop and come crashing down.It would have benefited from some locking gear teeth on the joints for extra confidence.Sending this back as it's not fitting for my exact need and I lack confidence in the product for now.

Decent. Portable. Stable. A touch on the heavy side but heavy duty enough to forgive it!

Really well made and holds onto the laptop incredibly well but regrettably too heavy for what I want use it for e.g. Carrying around festivals with the other Dj gear and travelling etc.. Absolutely perfect though if u don't plan on carry it about a lot

UPDATE: 2017-08-06 I have to take back my "solid, strong, working as expected" five-star review, because after few uses the fastening mechanism broke (the bolts fell out) and all the details (clips, washers, bolts) got spilled all over the floor. It still works but only if I am extra super careful while setting it up every time or I will lose some important detail. Disappointed.

Excellent laptop stand. Easy to fold down, solid while in use. Can definately recommend this for mobile DJs.

It’s a great quality stand however CDJ/DJM users if you like to slide the stand under your set up the base panel is too thick to snuggly slide under the set up so you get a wobbly platter 🙄. Otherwise it’s brilliant!
