Great little shoe rack. No issues. Put together easily and looks good.

Excellent quality and size is perfect for fitting into my built-in wardrobe. The shoe rack is flat-packed so requires bit of work to put it together. Instructions warn of possible splinters when constructing but the detail of finished wood is so good that no splinters were found. Plenty of nuts and bolts are included as well as a wee spanner and allen key. Its a bit fiddly to construct but holes all matched and once a few bolts are put in, it was easy to work out best way to complete. As its use is for a wardrobe, not looking to sit on it, but it appears sturdy enough to do this if required. I managed to fit four pairs of shoes on each of the two lower shelves. Would definitely recommend.

Update: After posting my original review below, Songmics contacted me and very generously offered to replace the faulty parts for free -- one of the legs and the bottom shelf. The replacement parts arrived promptly and now my bench is properly assembled. I'm still not giving five stars as the screws are still rusty (though they work perfectly fine), however, I upgraded my rating from three stars to four. The customer service is wonderful and I have no doubt that if you have any issue with the product, they will do their utmost to help you resolve the issue for free. So if you want a decent, affordable shoe rack/bench, you can't go wrong with this. ========= Original review: The supplied screws came tarnished/rusty, and the last screw refused to fit in properly, leaving the bench somewhat wobbly. However, I just made sure to place the side with the loose screw towards the wall. The bench does a decent job holding shoes and it's fine to sit on as well (no one in my household is over 80kg). I'm sure there must be better alternatives out there, but I can live with this bench.

Placed the order on Friday and received on Sunday - fantastic service and very much appreciated. The shoe rack is a lovely addition to the kitchen and now all our shoes (that normally gather all around the back door) are now neatly contained in our place with room for bags on the top! It came well packaged, was easy and quickly put together and it is also very sturdy - you can easily sit on it to put your shoes on. Extremely pleased with my purchase - good value for money and would recommend.

I prefer to buy assembled furniture, which is not easy to find these days. I always have some worry when I have to buy something that requires me to assemble it. This was very easy to assemble. I dread assembling furniture, but even I did it in minutes. They give you everything, holes are aligned as they should be: took minutes. The people that made these parts did their job well. Often with furniture you have to assemble there are problems. It looks really great as a piece of furniture. In my case it will be hidden away in a cupboard under some stairs, but if you have it in a place were it will be seen: looks great Frankly I am very pleased with this buy.

What a great product. They packed it very well. I loved the assemble part. It took like 2 mins to assemble whole thing. At the first I was scared to sit on it, because it looked like a toy, but I was needed to make sure that advertisement was correct... And it holds! By the way- it looks amazing. My whole family loves it. I also like that included some extra screws and bolts (just in case you would broke something). I really recommend it for the price. There is one thing, I would add some rubber covers for the "legs". If you have a wooden floor it may scratch the floor. But it just a thought...

Sturdy and easy to assemble

We have had other wooden shoe-racks that were flimsy and fragile. This one is very solid and the wood is attractive. It is simple to assemble.

So einfach zu montieren, Werkzeug ist dabei, man braucht nicht viel Kraft und schon gar kein handwerkliches Verständnis oder Geschick. Habe gleich zwei gekauft in beige für kleine Wohnung, sie sind robust und leicht zu reinigen, da glatte Oberfläche. Werde mir irgendwann auch zwei in schwarz kaufen für sehr kleines Wohnzimmer, nur als Sitzbänke. Habe nur einen ganz schmalen Gang und es passen gleich zwei Schuhbänkle rein. Die SONGMICS Dinge die ich bisher kaufte, sind immer super, schnell geliefert und auch noch günstig!

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a good shoe rack. It comes with a manual and it is easy to assemble.
