These are great to use for teaching phonics - the names of letters and their sounds. The only problem with some of the objects is that they are not phonetically correct to match the sound e.g for “t” There is a train - but train is a “ch” sound, a telescope, tap or turtle would have been good, the “x” was a xylophone which is a tricky one as we teach the sound “x” at the end of the word “b-o-x” it’s nothing a problem as you can put in your own objects into the acorns if you wanted too. I love that they have the capital letter on the front and the small letter under the hat of the acorn.
