Excellent quality; used them for our new outside light.The nuts can be a little fiddly to turn on the inside as you're fitting the wires through (which also makes them harder to fall out ;) ), so I used a pair of bottle-nosed pliers.These cases can be screw-mounted to a wall and the inside of the compartment (which closes very tightly) has a thin white, rubber seal running around the perimeter (it can be a bit fiddly if it falls out lol). So while I would probably try to seal up any holes you're not using, you can be sure the wires inside will not be directly exposed to the elements anytime soon.Very pleased with these :)

Very good product. You need to make sure that you have 3 and not 2 cables as any unused ports are open to the elements. The aperture decreases when screwed shut so I inserted a plastic bolt and screwed shut/in place to prevent any water entry. The only issue I had was not being able to anchor it to the wall. If I drill in it in place it will allow water to enter so I will probably use grab adhesive

Great little outside junction box. Nice tight fit for the waterproof grommets, and the seal seems pretty good too. They provide strain-relief on the cable.You'll have trouble fitting armoured cable to one of these unless it's a very small diameter, but apart from that, they are ideal. Outside fixing points are a good design feature.The screw connector is a standard strip block type, but not as cheap as to fail when tightening screws up. I've potted mine just in case, but unless they are submersed in water they should be perfect.

Bought these to attach to led security lights. as you find on these lights that there cords are always short. Easy to put up and install. Great boxes. Easy to open and close and can be screwed to walls. and also can be screwed closed with the round wee holes on the corner of these. if your worried about them opening up accidently which doesn't happen buy the way. Waterproof. 3 outlets. 13 amp connector inside. Great product all round.

Mounting screw holes are very flimsy & broke as soon as it was mounted on the wall, I resorted to putting 2 screws through the back of the box with some silicone behind to seal it. There has been no water ingress despite all the wet weather we have had lately.

Excellent product and very easy to use. I fail to understand some of the previous comments suggesting there is an open gland if only using two-wire connections, why buy a three-gland unit if you want only two, purchase the correct unit with only TWO glands - simples!!! The only down side was, it took an absolute age to be delivered.

Originally purchased because of very competitive price but bought again because of the very decent build quality. Better still I have opened a couple that were installed in exposed position last September and they were bone-dry inside. An excellent product at a brilliant price.

Very very fiddly to use. Just not big enough for amateurs like me to get all my fingers in, plus six wires, plus keep all the various the screw-up lock nuts from falling off, all while up a ladder. Infuriating and complete mess inside when I was finished. Tip: Go for one with a bigger box. As big as possible.
