I wanted to leave an honest review of this product for anyone who is struggling to get pregnant and thinks this product is the answer. We have been trying for over a year with RPL, I naively read the reviews and in my head thought this was the product that was gonna get us pregnant. This product is absolutely great at pinning you fertile window. So easy to use, so easy to read and just generally a 10/10 product, I would recommend to anyone trying to understand their cycles. However, like us, if there is an underlying problem this product will not get you pregnant alone - something to bear in mind when buying.

I read a lot of very positive reviews from other Amazon buyers before purchasing, and really enjoyed reading people's personal stories and journeys. I didn't buy these until 3-4 months of trying, and it was to get peace of mind that everything was as it should be. They worked brilliantly, I was ovulating like clockwork and so stopped using them after a few months. After falling pregnant first time trying with #1, we were becoming increasingly concerned that it was taking a bit longer second time round after 6 months, and so then we progressed to getting the usual tests done by doctor (bloods, semen - saw her after 6 months as I was over 35). Again, everything fine. More months passed, and we eventually ended up seeing a gynecologist and I was put on the waiting list for a laparoscopy. I was really concerned that after having a c-section, there were adhesions or blockages or something that was making it a little more difficult falling pregnant, over and above being slightly older. A gynaecological laparoscopy is a procedure that allows a surgeon to examine your fallopian tubes, ovaries and womb (uterus). It can be used to either diagnose a condition, or to allow treatment. Blue dye is used to check for any blockages and you are put under a general anaesthetic. The laparoscopy went to plan and lo and behold I fell pregnant 2 weeks later!!! Some people commented that I was "less stressed, more relaxed" but I reckon I just needed a good flush out to get things going again! So my advice ultimately is that if you are having trouble falling pregnant, then try as much as you can (and this obviously extends to your lifestyle, exercise regime, healthy diet etc) to help you conceive - ovulation sticks are only part of your fertility toolkit, and it certainly helps to know when your prime time is ovulating to maximise chances. They are pricey but worth every penny for when you do get your positive result. I remember being over the moon and thinking it was all slightly surreal at the same time, almost too good to be true. Our baby #2 due next month and we are extremely grateful for all the advice and help we have received. Inform yourself as much as possible about all the different things you can try and research, research, research is key. Good luck to everyone trying... it can be very difficult waiting each month for a positive result, so get as much support as you can and don't give up hope!

In January/February we started considering trying for a baby, after two months as I could not figure out when I am ovulation (I was being given different dates by different websites and there is definitely no time and energy to have sex every 2 days) I have decided to buy this ovulation kit, 20 pack testing kit. Best purchase ever!! It took the pressure off as to when is a good time to do it as the ovulation kit was very reliable. It was actually fun as every month I had a smiley face my partner knew what it ment so we took it easy at work or even finished earlier. By May and June I was pretty confident and could work out when I am ovuluating so I only needed to use 1-2 testers before we had a smiley face. In July we got pregnant. I was so happy and I still cannot believe it. Definitely the best ever purchase as it took the pressure off and we knew that we were doing it at the right time. The first and second month I was little bit dissapointed when we did not get pregant, especially after reading the reviews of those who did get pregnant the first month so please do not get disappointed when you do not get pregnant immediately. Keep yourself busy, I redecorated our house, redecorated my tenant's kitchen, toiled trained our cats, and started planning to do our new bathroom .. and here we go, we are pregnant. We only needed 20 pack testing kit, you do not test every day in the month if you keep track of the first day of your period every month so I still have some testers left. I also used the testers when when I did not get my period to check whether I am pregnant. We had a smiley face so we end up buying the pregnancy test which also confirmed that we are pregnant. Do not think twice and buy this if you are trying for a baby. Well spend money.

I may just have a dodgy batch, but the tests I have done have stayed on the image of the test or have an error code. I've tried both methods and this doesn't seem to change the outcome. They are a lot of money to have even one failed result let alone one after the other! I prefer these because it is a definite yes or no whereas strip tests can be trickier, but for the cost of them and then tbey don't work - I won't bother with them again!

These are easy to read. However in my opinion the price is excessively expensive and really for each cycle it turns out that you need about 20 ovulation sticks as it is recommended you test twice a day. I hadn't realised that when purchasing. For this price I would expect at least one cycles worth of testing to be included. There is no option just to buy refill sticks if you already have the digital reader. The digital reader does make it exceptionally easy to read but for this same price you can get many many more of the cheaper ovulation strips that come up with the second line when LH is present rather than an empty face or smiley face. There are cheaper kits that include pots to collect urine and many more ovulation strips than this does. I used this in conjunction with some cheaper ovulation tests - wondfo - and as soon as they started showing a light line I begin testing with the clearblue. I used these for IVF/FET and they take the guesswork out of it as there is a smiley face when the surge occurs. The pregnancy test - I used clearblue early digital the day before period due and it also takes the guesswork out of it. I used the pregnancy test that was supplied with this on what would be 11 days past transfer and the result was clear to read, where as other tests were causing me anxiety and weren't clear. I have marked this down solely for the price but they are the best ovulation and pregnancy tests I have used, by far.

It was exactly a year ago that I found out I was pregnant, now I'm holding my 4-month-old as I'm writing. We had been trying for a baby for 6 month. I grew more and more impatient and worried, it was not easy to see a negative result over and over again. I didn't see the point in wasting a whole year on trying without any help as I was 32 and I really wanted to start a family... After a little research, I got this product (a pack of 20), a bottle of Robitussin syroup and a tube of Pre Seed gel (all from Amazon). I decided to use all of them during my following cycle, to help myself a little. I started using the Clearblue sticks on day 6 of my cycle and got a smiley face on cd 13 and 14. We made love every other day starting when my period ended, up to the smiley-days, and then both days when I got the smileys, plus the following day. (My husband did a sperm-analysis and the results came back excellent from the lab, so it was clear that having sex 4 days in a row when we knew I was around ovulation was not counter-productive.) I got my positive preg. test just after New Year's Eve. This test is easy to use and results are accurate, just make sure you do everything as suggested in the manual. I will definitely use it again when trying for our second baby.

I was very sceptical about these things. I thought I was pretty good at tracking my cycle and ovulation symptoms since I have gotten pregnant before this way. However, when I had been trying for several months to get pregnant again and nothing was happening I thought I would give these a go. Basically I started using them earlier in my cycle than I thought I would ovulate just in case and to be honest I had almost given up using them as I had gone through nearly all of them and had not yet had a smiley, I figured I either didn't ovulate or missed the surge but I kept going and on my second to last stick I actually got a smiley, about 6 days after I should have ovulated according to past cycle lengths and ovulation signs. So if I had just gone on instinct I would have totally wasted months. I was so pleased. The best money I had spent in a long time and definately going to use these again when I try for my next baby. Edit: 2013 - I brought these again when ttc another child and once again, I got a smiley the first month trying and am now 7 wks pregnant. I cannot recommend these enough.
