Brilliant piece of kit - neat, small, easy to use, remarkably accurate. Almost addictive.
Brilliant piece of kit. Very, very easy to use - simply press the little red On-Off button, place the base of the Digi-Pas on whatever surface you want to measure, and the display panel tells you the precise orientation, correct to one tenth of a degree. It's neat, small, pleasantly tactile, remarkably accurate, and almost addictive - it's so easy to use, and so accurate, you may well find yourself wandering round the house with this little gadget in your hand, checking just how horizontal or vertical your doors, shelves, pictures, floors, walls and everything else really are. Sadly, Amazon say (on 10th May 2014) that this item is no longer available. That's a great pity, as it really is useful, as well as remarkably modestly priced. IMHO, it would be well worth your while to hunt out an alternative supplier on the net.

Excellent Value
Don't let the christmas cracker look of this little fella put you off, it's an excellent little tool. Bought for work to measure tube angles and does that excellently. Our client bought 2 tools to do the same thing, each of which cost 3 to 5 times the cost of this one, and don't give a lot of confidence in their accuracy. Useful that it has a good strong magnet. Only drawbacks are that it would be a little more useful if it had a deeper groove (it has a shallow one) on the underside to lay on tubular items, and it could be a bit longer. It's very compact at about 4" or so long. Other con is that it doesn't come with a case, but fits well inside an old glasses pouch.

A great product - but with a fundamental design fault.
A great product - but with a fundamental design fault mentioned by other reviewers. The mode button supposedly can be held down for a few seconds to capture the reading - a great idea for when the device is used in space restricted or dark areas (the display is not back-lit). However - the very small mode button cannot be held down unless you use a small pointed object - an impossible task. So the device cannot be used effectively in restricted or dark areas. The company must have poor quality control to spoil such a good device for the cost of a bigger button. I shall not return I need it urgently and its performance for what I need (set up of an astronomical telescope) is adequate - but I am bound to have situations where I regret this limitation. Since writing my original review I have discovered that the hold button was in fact sticking. I applied a small spot of WD 40 and the button now operates more easily (with only occasional sticking). I can now apply a firm finger tip rather than a small pointed object as previously needed. The button now operates with a distinct clicking feel which aids use in restricted/dark areas - although the small size of the button is still a disadvantage. By the way - the calibrate button is even smaller and definitely does need the use of a small pointed object - but this is acceptable since the calibration would be done in unrestricted, well-lit conditions. In fact it is probably designed this way to avoid accidental use. So overall I still feel that the design of the hold button is a negative point - but since it is a super little device apart from this I would now give it a 4 star.

Small and accurate level. Good value for quality.
Very happy with the tool I have used the bigger brother to this one in a presion machine shop.

Not bad for the price
This is a nice tidy little digital level but it does not hold its calibration too well. The zero function works, so you don't need to calibrate every time. Using the zero function on a known level surface, alot of the time the level has held its calibration. But all in all for the low price it serves its purpose.

Good value, fairly easy to use, be careful on initial startup
Bought two of these.Installing the battery is problematic - need a very small screwdriver.Found that both were reading bad angles. But this turned out that the device was in an offset mode - even though I had not pressed any buttons. This confused me on the first one so much I calibrated it myself, only realising then that it was probably okay all along and just needed the offset setting turning off.

You don’t get what is in the photo
The product I bought showed additional two bubble levels. As you see what was delivered was a very basic version. I was conned and am not at all satisfied. Buyers beware.

A surprising high quality product
This really is a very made and high quality miniature spirit level that I bought predominantly to adjust the level of the saddle on my road bike, but which I think will be useful for numerous projects around the house. I've already had numerous people comment on it and my dad has borrowed it for a project he's working on. I didn't realise it had been factory calibrated so I recalibrated it as soon as I took it out of the box. This was in the instructions but maybe should have been made more prominent with larger writing.
