Bought this umbrella as a spare for the house. It seems sturdy and works fine, have not had any issues with it. It's a bit on the heavy side, so not the best for traveling. But then again, the lighter umbrellas tend to break easily. I wouldn't say it's very "compact" either, maybe compared to those long "golf" umbrellas it is but it's really just a regular sized umbrella. It is definitely better made than some promotional umbrellas we got for free that all broke in the first wind (in the South we get very heavy rain with strong wind typically). No regrets in purchasing it.

Product is nice. Seems durable so far. Problem is retracting it to "snap" closed. It doesn't easily snap and you have to really push it down to hear the snap. Once I thought I did, but it opened up in the back of my car. Scratched the leather seat. Wasn't happy. If they fix that mechanism, I would rate it a 5.

I needed an umbrella. This one was so affordable for it's quality. It's a nice size when folded up and a perfect size for one when opened (a squeeze for two). The material seems to be durable so far. The handle is comfortable and it's not heavy at all.

This umbrella is exactly what my daughter wanted. Adorable polka dots. Worked well in the rain. I did notice it is not as compact as I thought it might be, which worked out to her advantage. It is not tiny small just small.

i got the color black. it’s small, easy to open and close, fits on the sides of my backpack. will get the extra large for winter!

I like that the umbrella came with it's own sheeth, and was shipped in a plastic external sheeth, good for travel and storage.The color quality is great, as is the pop out/in open/close mechanism.

Item broke after a couple uses. The plastic mechanism inside the handle is held in place on the main shaft by a set screw. The plastic that the set screw is in just split in half due to the shock associated with opening after a few times. Amazon won’t replace because I got around to reporting this just after the 30 days and the seller just kicks me back to amazon’s automated system. Frankly, this is a defective product and should be replaced by the seller rather than Amazon but I can't find any way to contact the seller.Updating review and rating: the company contacted me and replaced the broken item with no fuss.

Great two for one deal. Umbrella 's are a little heavy, but withstand weather pretty good.
