These boxes are great for temporary power setups. I bought this to house the end of an extension cable, and also to place a travel router. The box works great for this, the cables enter via rubber thingies that keep the weather out, and it's a plastic box, so the radio's work great. Full protection from the weather. It's big enough for the main things that I needed in the box and there's also the ability to add a lock too, which can help keep sticky fingers out (but not someone that really wants to get in)

Needed to have a weatherproof box for the garden so I could protect out 9v mains charger to our new water feature.Decent enough build. Would of been nice if unit could be altered so door could open up from the left or right.Got it at a decent price and prompt delivery.Definitely would recommend.

Over the last 6 years I have amassed 10 of these boxes, some with the extension lead included, some not. 2-3 years ago the prices got ridiculous - some sellers asking £45! I'm pleased to say they have now returned to an affordable level. I use them mainly for outdoor Christmas light displays, some of the boxes permanently mounted, the rest come out when needed. I have never had a failure of any box to date.The boxes are made of sturdy plastic, with a strong hinge and positive closing catch. There is provision for a small padlock. A continuous flexible seal around the lid prevents water ingress. A removable plastic retainer keeps the cables in place, sealed between two soft rubber like sealing strips. The boxes permanently mounted outside show signs of fading but there is no sign of cracking or other degradation. Their location subjects them to direct sunlight and exposes them to rain, snow, wind and frost. The seals show no signs of degradation either.There is plenty of space within the boxes to accomodate 13A plugs, and most transformers used with christmas lights. One of my permamently mounted boxes houses a wifi controlled light controller for deck lights. It has been outside for 3 years, still looks brand new and continues to operate flawlessly.These boxes are my go to solution for safe watertight protection, and given their longevity, represent excellent value for money.

Second one I’ve purchased, perfect to do the job

I put a smart WiFi controlled extension socket with some flood lights and a cctv camera plugged into it, I couldn’t have done this without this box. It’s competitively priced as well and waterproof. I will be buying another one.

Good sized medium box for use with a 4 way extension lead. Easy to use and waterproof. Does not come with an extension lead but that is what I wanted. Great price, robust and on time. 2 cable entries which require drilling and use of a protective cable grommet which is not supplied, however there are also 5 waterproof holes adequate for normal use. It is safe to use on grass or on a wall but I would recommend a base of thick wood if using on grass or hard floor. Small price to pay for safety.

Use this to hold a power bar and part of our CCTV system.Been through a lot of rain storms and perfectly dry inside.

It’s a bit pricy, but it’s worth it. It offered the best protection for my LED light drivers in an outdoor lighting system.
