Can this be used to make a fixed on one side gasket. Using some safe food oil to prevent sticking on one side?

Any moisture would stop it from sticking. Soapy water is used for best results when tooling and finishing visible joints. How about applying it to one surface and waiting for it to cure for a day? Once it's cured it's adhered to the base but the top is not sticky anymore. As you can imagine this product hasn't been designed for this application so we can't recommend or give advice on this. Especially that we don't know details. You would need to experiment to find out if it will work for you.
