Great expansion to the game, Yig adds in a great old one especially for players who like fighting characters as Yig spans a lot of stuff to kill which is a nice change to the other old ones you have to face. These small box expansions give you loads for your money compared to the larger expansions so Ive bought all of them. Each one gives you new characters usually, along with new encounter cards and items to add a bit more variety. If you play eldritch often like we do I would buy all the small expansions as it add lots of bang for your buck.

It's a great expansion. It gives you a lot more encounter card for all the locations and the GOO (Great Old Ones). Well worthwhile expansion.

This expansion represents great value for money. The sturdy little box comes complete with much welcome additional Mystery cards for the base-game Great Old Ones, an Additional Great Old One (Yig), more Mythos Cards, Encounters, Conditions, Items and Artifacts. I have played two games with this expansion and they have been really disimilar despite using the same Old One. The quality of the set is exceptional as is generally the way nowadays with FFG, but the cards do seem to be slightly thinner than those in the base set. Once they are sleeved this is imperceptable and to be honest I may be being overly critical. This gets a big 5 stars from me as it adds so much to an already great game. If you have the base set and want to reinvigorate it, or if you are thinking of buying the main game, I would recommend grabbing a copy of this expansion. Well done FFG - keep them coming!

Eldritch Horror has 2 types of expansions - small boxes and big boxes. From what I have discovered the small boxes increase the value of the game while the big boxes increase the size of the game. big box -> 2 ancient ones with additional cards, locations etc. small boxes => 1 ancient one, no location, many more cards for each deck. To me the small boxes have a great value and this particular one has the biggest of them all. If you are looking for something cheap to extend your Eldritch game with additional mechanics and more cards -this is the 1st one you want to buy. Then in order get all small boxes and you will have an amazing eldritch experience. If you want to increase the time played and somewhat spice up the game buy a big box expansion :)

It gives Eldritch Horror a slightly Indiana Jones-ey vibe but if you're cool with that it is a great expansion to the base game. Would personally recommend getting Forsaken Lore first if you're looking to collect EH expansions, but as far as big box expansions go UtP really isn't half bad. I would have preferred for the corner of the game box to not be damaged upon delivery but the contents are fine I guess... ._. A bit of a bummer seeing that I wanna collect the boxes too.

Makes the game a lot better, especially for frequent players. There's just not enough encounter cards in the base set, and most of this pack really should have been in the original game. Still, it's a fantastic game that this essential pack only makes better.

A great addition to the games, more goodies and one of the more interesting bosses in the game. If your set is gathering dust this will bring back flame. Also poison is crazy.

I have seen the box opening on YouTube and I must say look cool. If you got eldritch horror and you look to make the game more evil and harder then you got to get this. This game is so adictive even when is SO HARD, expect 9 out of 10 defeats, still every one will have fun and its as fun with 2 player as with 6. The more players the longer the game will be and its A LONG game! Do not lose the game pieces! MAsks of Nyrlathothep, is the final expansion of eldrich horror nad it makes an awesome final act. It has not only the dreaded Crawling chaos as oponent (and its mercyless but not that hard to beat) but the final 8 investigators and a special custom challenge FOR EACH INVESTIGATOR of the whole game! pure awesomeness!

We love EH so the expansion was a no brainer. It delivers the goods in terms of additional content as well as freshening up the main game.

Antartica is the new setting for this expansion and it has its own rules, you will need a BIG table or two tables to play this, ITS HUGE! New rules, new investigators, new ancients, pure fun!!

A must for Eldritch Horror fans, expands the oringinal game to a new level. Please note that this expansion reprint is a couple of weeks away from shipping (as of 08/12/15). So wait a while instead of paying stupid prices for it.
