Sony PS3 500GB Super Slim Console (PS3)

great service, well packaged and got two free games. Highly recommend

after 5 years of xbox 360 i decided to move to another generation but instead choose ps4 i decided to bought a ps3(and i will bought in the future a wii u to put near it) , why i took a ps3 ? well now is cheaper and her games as well, i am tired of shooter and fighter games i prefer now platform and particular games with some exception , and there is a plenty of exclusive such like the whole ratchet and clank series , jax and daxter trilogy, sly trilogy, puppeteer,wipeout HD little big planet series, metal gear solid 4,the last of us ecc. , and i forget it there are a lot of ps one classic game like final fantasy XII ,IX crash bandicoot and spyro series(i bought these one for first game) , i could never imagined how much exclusive game the sonys' console hold , the ps3 super slim is very light and small i was surprise,and i did not find the casing too much cheaper as well i like it the new disk insertion remenber me my childhood when i had the ps one my first console. Set up was easy as well and i found the menu more beautiful than Microsoft console i liked the controller i dont find so much difference from xbox360 controller , i did not tried the blue ray drive so i don't know yet the level of noises because most of the game i will buy by digital delivery , and in that case the console is very very quietly, i appreciate it i can buy from playstation network with the paypal system is more safely now than before so if you want a very good game system took a this one you will be not disappointed

Ordering was easy enoughI enquired about possibly receiving Coop games I was sent a reply same day saying they would have a look for me so another star for quick response.Received various updates and information about tracking which is fortunates as the package arrived 3 days earlier than the expected in a sturdy well packaged box.PS3 Condition:Been pre-owned the condition was as I expected sturdy with obvious tiny scratches on the panelling, the back panelling itself was a bit loose but easily clicked back into place, the disk tray cover also had a bit of personality to it and sometimes requires a little extra nudge to ensure it is closed but is otherwise fine.When turned the software has been returned to factory settings and will take 10 minutes or so to quickly update to get it up and running.The games I received were Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, not exactly what I was expecting but both couch coop which is what I asked for and both disks were spotless with no marks or scratches.All cables were provided including a double charge cable for the controller which pleased me greatly though the controller itself is the reason this is only receiving 4 stars.Rather than receiving a official controller with the console I instead received a 3rd party controller:https://www.amazon.co.uk/LowClick-Unique-Bluetooth-Wireless-Controller/dp/B00BSV90WO/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8While the controller has mixed reviews I seem to have been fortunate and received one of the more sturdy and serviceable ones, so even if it is less comfortable than a official controller I'll be keeping it even if it was a minor unpleasant surprise.So good seller but it you are picky about your controllers send the seller an email and make sure you know what you are getting.

I had the old fat and shiny 40Gb PS3 and just loved it. Sadly it packed in with the yellow light of death followed by the red flashinglight of death !! I was fortunate that there wasn`t a disc trapped inside when it failed or I would have had to go into dismantling mode !!I decided that life without a PS3 wasn`t for me so I searched for a best price new PS3 and found this new model at Amazon. I elected freedelivery and I had my new PS3 three days later. Well done Amazon.My first impression was how light and slim it was compared to my chunky old unit. I had read reviews of this unit being a bit noisy inoperation but when it is running a game it is virtually silent. Yes, you do hear it when it is spinning up and loading but at least you know itis doing what it`s supposed to do.I personally like the top loading via the sliding cover as it is one less thing to go wrong and at least you could retrieve your disc if the unitshould fail with a disc loaded.I am impressed with the capacious 500Gb available compared to the 40Gb of my old unit. I will probably store all my digital photographs on my newPS3 and enjoy watching them on TV.As I said in my title the new PS3 does just the same as the older models. It has the same powerful cell processor and will play Blu Ray films ifyou so desire. It really is a nice neat unit and I am very pleased with my purchase.
