Which Rub n Buff colour is closest to brass?

I would say antique gold because it is the most yellow of all the colours.

I am sorry I really can't say I did it on paint work and it was fab, but with glass and mirrors it can't adhere so could rub off

Well the tubes are very small and although they go a long way I think you will need a few if you were thinking of creating large areas. I have only used them for picture frames and small vases and highlighting. I dont think it will brush on satisfactorly. Probably worth a try with one tube on a piece of card and then you will get some idea. Sorry can be more help. Good luck. Effect definately would be better than paint.

Does this work on sterling silver

I am sorry I cant answer that one it works fine on slightly porous materials. I used it to restore a tired gilr picture frame with very positive results
