If you have fluorescent, this is the best conversion
I had 16 fluorescent T12, or may be T8. Who cares, this works for both. They were 4 feet long. Those 16 bulbs had 8 ballast. I have changed those bulbs so many times. They are insanely unpredictable. Sometime, I would turn them on and they would only light after freaking 2 days. I was tired of it. So I looks for alternatives, and this is that alternative that will last way longer, and cheaper than those old T12I YouTubed on how to bypass the ballast and connect these directly. Connections were a breeze, thanks to YouTube. It took me longer to take the old damn bulbs out than to by pass and remove the ballast.I absolutely recommend this, and if you have the old crap, save yourself from flickering bulbs and convert to LED.

Works great
The instructions was easy to follow and the 3000k color temperature gave the place a warm feeling. Good product, looks well built and sturdy. Price was good. Thanks for the quick delivery.

These are great. They require a bit of wiring modification, about five minutes of work.
These are great. They require a bit of wiring modification in an existing fixture, about five minutes of work, then they plug right in. They are a lot brighter than fluorescent tubes; in some fixtures we only needed one LED tube where there had been two fluorescents. The light colour is pleasant, not too blue, not too yellow. To modify the fixture, turn off the power at the breaker, then remove the cover hiding the ballast, and cut all wires connecting to the ballast, remove it and throw it away. In a two-tube fixture, one of the ends will have two of the sockets wired in parallel, with one pair of wires going to the (now discarded) ballast. Connect these wires to the white and black building wiring. Cut the wires off the connectors at the other end. Replace the cover and that's it. The tubes have to be inserted so the end with the electronics and logo is plugged into the end with the power. They will not light up if you put them in the other way around. It is a good idea to have some extra sockets on hand, as they tend to disintegrate if they are really old. Also it is a good idea to wear gloves if the ballasts are really old, as they may have started leaking black oil... that might be PCB-based coolant in a really old ballast, and you do not want that on your skin. I was glad to get those things out of the building!

Bright and easy to install
I purchased this because the similar Hyperikon brand product worked well - about half the power consumption and twice as bright. Unfortunately the Hyperikon units were no longer available on Amazon, so I bought a box of 20 of these Paramida LED tubes. The Parmida units are approximately as bright to the eye and the same 5,000K color. The specs are about 5% less bright for the Parmida units, and they correspondingly have 95 LED's instead of the 100 on the Hyperikon. The LED size and spacing is similar, but the Parimida tubes have a larger 1-15/16 inch end cap at either end, partially obscuring the end LED's, as compare to the Hyperikon units where the LED's start only 1" from each end, and the end plastic is nicely sculpted so that it doesn't interfere with the light much at either end. The HYperikon units also had a slightly wider reflector tape on the LED strip. The Parimida bulbs were easier to install, as they can be configured nearly any way (single end, double end, double-double end). As can be seen in the photos, the acceptable wiring methods are drawn on each tube end cap for those who don't read or lose the paper instructions. One of the 20 tubes, packaged in one of the corner spots, arrived broken. I don't know if I'll be able to patch the plastic tube up structurally enough with clear tape, but I'll give it a try. Returning is easy with Amazon, but more trouble than its worth and I wanted to install some bulbs today. Overall, a good product and a huge upgrade from the less efficient flickering 40W fluorescents! Hoping they will last like the Hyperikons have so far for ~2 years.

T8 ballast bypass LED bulbs
So far no complaints removing the ballast is the hardest part ( and its not hard). The bulbs go in like normal and are a very close match to the flourescent bulbs I was replacing. Very happy so far. We will have to wait and see about longevity, but so far very happy.

High out-of-box failure percentage
I ordered a 20 pack of these bulbs and they arrived in a couple of days. I had to do a ballast bypass on 7 fixtures and chose the double-ended wiring configuration as it was easiest given the existing wire. After retrofitting all 7 fixtures I was very please with the result. These lights are bright and the 5000k temperature is perfect for a garage or workshop. However, after about half an hour one of the tubes started flashing. One tube had shattered in shipping so I had 5 other tubes in the bottom tray of the box to swap it out for. All 5 of those tubes would start flashing immediately upon turning on the light switch. I tried them in other fixtures and the flashing followed the bulbs. After another hour or so another bulb started flashing. Then after a couple of days yet another one. So with the broken and flashing bulbs now I'm down to twelve tubes but need fourteen.I tried calling Parmida but I got their tech support voice mail. Left a message but haven't heard from them.I have zero confidence that these LED tubes will last very long so they're getting returned. To summarize:About a 40% out-of-box failure rate.Manufacturer doesn't answer the phone or return messagesNot a good mix of attributes. AVOID.
