pollifilla filla's the holes with ease
I've used Polycell products before, many times, and have found them to be of top quality ... and this one is as good as i've come to expect ... You do have to mix it yourself as it comes in a powder inside a bag inside the box. But mix is as the instructions tell you and you'll end up with a smooth, easy to manage, paste which will fill those holes in your walls. BUT ... if you mix it wrong then you'll be in trouble ... too thick or too thin and you may find cracks in the finished, dried product in the wall. mixing it is easy, just pour the powder into a suitable bowl/mixing pot and add water whilst stirring gently and continuously. As the paste thickens you either add a little more water or, if needed, a little more powder ... luckily, this product gives you a good scope in getting that perfect paste without any real trouble. There's loads of powder in this box and makes more filler than you need .... if you use all this on one wall then you really should have replastered the wall instead ... Once the filler dries in the wall it can be painted over without any preperation, maybe just a little sanding if you've not smoothed over the pasted when applying it to the walls. But it's far less hassle than painting over fresh plaster. In all, another great product from Polycell which helps cover those holes, cracks and gaps before painting or papering.

Seller Great. Product Great. Delivery Terrible
Polycel filler in a large box was sent in bubble wrap and waterproof covering which should have been more than sufficient for posting. The filler was well priced and in my opinion, is the best filler on the market. I give the SELLER and product FIVE stars. . However, Evri who delivered it managed to puncture the packaging and leave a large boot print on the grey wrap. Upon opening up the well protected pacopk, I had to suck off the lose powder, clean the box and repair with tape, all because of Evri delivery which is not my first experience with that lot damaging goods in transit. I would suggest not to use Evri as they are sloppy unlike normal Amazon deliveries.

Easy to use plaster filler
Great quality filler. I'd never used this stuff before (any filler) but it was relatively easy to mix in microwavable containers and easy to get to a suitable consistence. It appears quite grey when being mixed and applied, but fear not, dries and sets to a white colour. It's tricky to ensure a thin enough spread of the material and in about 6 of the 8 holes I filled, the filler did sink a little into the hole, but otherwise it does set firmly despite this. Just give it at least 48 hours before sanding particularly if in a cold house as the time stated on the packaging is definitely not enough if you have foldes around 4cm deep. Not really much need to sand if you apply well, otherwise sands nice and smooth.

Cheaper than ready mix
It was working out a bit expensive keep buying the ready mix tubes, and filler kept drying inside of the nozzle on the tubes compounding the problem. If you’re doing more than the odd job then I would go with this stuff. The powder is a bit messy but if you’re making a mess anyway it doesn’t matter too much. I mix this in a old Tupperware sandwich box which washes out easily afterwards, even if the filler has dried. You don’t need to add very much water (2:1 powder:water) and it mixes surprisingly well - it’s smooth and not clumpy at all. I like the fact you can thin it out slightly too by adding a touch more water. It’s relatively easy to work with, dries absolutely rock hard and sands well. Pretty much all you can ask for and this box will last me a while.

Good Filler
I think one of the big selling points of this filler is that it's very fine, and very easy to use. No doubt that's partly because it's interior only. Fillers that are suitable for exterior use tend to be quite different. I consider it a final filler, in that undercoat or one-coat plaster are better for even moderately deep holes. Polyfiller is really for the last one or two millimetres. Only real negative is that it takes too long to set, however, it's a lot quicker than it used to be years ago. A few hours seems to be enough. You can add some PVA ( wood glue ) to make it more sticky, set faster, and set harder. Also, I like to paint a little diluted PVA on the finished surface to toughen it up, otherwise it can be a little soft. It's a quality filler at a very good price.

Plaster powder that does it all
Changing carpet in a corridor. Why not repaint? Then the walls need fixing. Old house with crumbling plaster. I went and I bought all sorts of plasters including premixed. This at the end did it all. Mix it as you wish. Gives plenty of working time - ideally I would sand in 4-5 hours. One drawback possibly is if you leave sanding for next day the plaster clogs sandpaper and sanding takes ages. Make sure when applying you will not need too much sanding. Great results and solid surface after set. I am thinking by the way this sets it's not just a plaster. There must be something else added that gives it the added strength after setting.

Reliable filler
I always use Polycell when decorating etc. I have never been let down useless I rush and put too much on in one application. I was a little disappointed with the packaging from Amazon on this occasion. It was loosely packed in a box with two other items. In transit some of the Polycell powder came out of the box, which is a waste, but it also meant I had to spend time cleaning the powder from the other two items before I could use them. So far however, the polycell itself has once again stuck well to the holes in the walls prior to decorating.

Grazie

The product itself was fine, but the box arrived damaged inside the packaging and there was powder everywhere inside the bag. I wish it could have been packaged better
