Can anyone confirm that these can definitely be flushed down the toilet without causing any problems

Yes I can. I'm very particular about buying flushable cleaning products. I try to support high street shops but I couldn't get this product anywhere, hence I resorted to online. I've used them for a long time and I've never had any problems

Is this 2 packets of 80 as indicated?

It is a 40 wipes pack. 2 packs 40 making a total of 80 wipes.

Is it actually safe to flush these down the toilet? Regarding blocking drains etc

No it is not.. they are not paper, but made of fibre, which does not decompose easily..
