Not the Plug-N-Play I expected
Overall, a disappointing experience. The drive was supposed to be compatible with Android, but never worked on 2 Samsung phones. I attempted to get help from the email address in the box without ever receiving a response. I returned the item.

Works as expected and reasonably fast
My first concern when I see large capacity storage advertised is how fast it does the transfer. This one works very well and when connected to anything above USB2 it is fast at transferring data.I moved photos off the phone (speeds vary depending on the phone brand) and was happy with the speed and results. I also moved over a thousand files off my laptop and it worked perfectly also. It is very convenient that the cables are attached to the drive and so there is no need to look for a cable when you want to use it.Definitely a keeper and thinner than one of my comparable drives. Easy to use, good read and write speeds, convenient size and cables, a well designed product.

Not wireless but works well for backups
*Initial review 11/5/22*When I received this for review, I thought it was a MiFi drive, but it is not. It is Mfi certified. So it is approved by apple for use with their brand of devices but any transfer of data is done over a wired connection. I was really disappointed with the loss of wireless because I wanted to click an app and have things backup without physical intervention.I can't give full review yet because I misplaced the documents that came with the device. But here are my thoughts. This sort of device is used because one wants to save money by making a one time storage purchase instead of paying monthly for cloud storage. Over time, this is much cheaper to buying cloud space and more secure too depending on what is being backed up. Again, it takes a wired connection for this solution but it has everything you need included. I especially like the stacked wires so it can connect to all the common connectors - however it is a bit of a waste if you don't use all 3 connectors. The battery bank is nice to have so the hard drive doesn't have to be plugged in at time of data transfer. It makes this truly grab and go. It has a dedicated charge port, but I've found that the included connectors are charging the batteries. I will update if I find differently, but I do not believe this will work to charge my phone.I like the physical power on and off button. This helps to prevent me having to search of an outlet if the battery gets drained. If you've had your phone die on a plane or in an airport, you know what I am talking about. It has 4 leds to indicate battery level which is nice too.I've only used the backup function so far. When I plugged into my phone, a popup told me which app to install for it - I had already looked on their website and it has no mention of this device under support. I could not tie which app went with it. I still am confused if I can use multiple of their apps with the device. But it wanted the idiskk player app.The backup was very simple to complete. The drive did get pretty warm during data transfer. The case upper and sides are aluminum so I think the case is designed to dissipate heat - I cannot validate for sure but it makes sense to me. It wasn't ever uncomfortable to the touch. The app feels nicely finished but it will take a few uses to figure out any extended functions besides backup and storage. It sounds like I can create partitions to use across different devices for backup going by reviews on a similar device idiskk made in past, but I haven't figured this part out yet if that is true. After backup, it gives a 'release space' option that seems to delete files off source device which is my iphone in this case. I did not use the function but I feel like it could be useful. One item to note is that the app will play or display items on phone. So I could watch a video from the drive on my phone or I could look at the photos without having them on my phone at all. It seems like a useful feature but I'm not sure they can be edited and getting them to transfer back onto phone is not especially clear just yet.I'd recommend the device but I really prefer a mifi storage solution which this is not.

Worthless
Completely slow and the description should advise that it uses a 3rd party app more clear! Waste of Time and Money
