The cord turned up loose - just a bundle of cord - no branding or packaging so could have been anything !!!I’ve fitted the cord today on the heavy mirror - so hope it now holds otherwise a claim will be forthcoming for a damaged mirrorSo far so good

I haven't used this item yet but it's perfect for my needs. It looks very strong and the price is ideal too.

stronger than picture wire

Cord did exactly what it said - supported a large mirror, (4ft x 3ft) weighing 30KG. I attached two metal strap hooks screwed to a stud wall to hang it on and spread the weight over two hanging points.Very sceptical it would work after trying marine wire which snapped. Cord may look not very thick but does the job admirably, been in situ over a month, no movement. If your at all worried, do what I did and attach one end to a metal gate post and pull with two hands to test, nothing gave so used it. Length was okay for me but if you want to double it up for added strength you may need to order a longer length but very cheap anyway.

I wanted something to hang a very heavy mirror. It was meant to hold a very hight weight. However, decided not to use it. It just did not look up-to the job. Probably ok. But just could not take the chance

Brought this string to hang a heavy large family picture on the wall. It does the job and is very strong and secure with the weight of the heavy picture. Would recommend.

My partner hung a very large mirror using picture wire and after a few months it fell down (the wire broke). I wasn't having any more of that so I bought this. It's great. Mirror seems very stable. It's much easier to knot than picture wire and I feel confident that the mirror will stay up this time.
