Pretty good. About half the price of comparable map holders. Comfortably fit OS maps. Has a loop which a compass can be tethered to. Only possible issue is that the strap is short and non adjustable.

The map case seems to be well made and sturdy. Have used a few times now in the rain and map has stayed dry. It is roomy enough to put OS map in and a guide book. My only problem is that the strap is shorter than I would like so not able to wear on the shoulder so have to carry or wear round my neck which I dislike. Otherwise am very happy with my purchase.

I would have given this product 5 stars, but for one thing - the strap is too short to be of use. If you hang it round your neck, it is too close to the face to be able to read. Luckily I had a strap from an old case, and was able to fasten it on, despite there being no loops to attach the clips to. I would suggest making the strap much longer, and charging a little more, it would be worth it.

I bought this because I needed something very tough for travel and tourism where I could see and find the items in the bag and coudl rely on it not splitting or breaking, and to put this in a larger bag protected from any liquid spills. I could not find anything else and came across transparent map-bags by accident. It was never used for maps! To this end it worked bery well. We has a water leak in the map bag and nothing in this map case was damaged. My only gripe was the handle which gets caught up in the velcro top fastenings and just makes it really fiddly when removing and placing new items in the bag, but to be fair it was probably never designed to be used in this way. So 5 stars from me and I wonder how many people would wished they had known about these really tough transaparent bags for other purposes other than documents and maps!

A nice looking map case at a great price, was very impressed with it until I took it out on a wet day. Surprisingly the OS map came back pretty wet on both sides and is ruined. On investigating this, the top is well folded over several times and didn't appear to have let in water, but the material along either side is woven synthetic plastic and is sewn onto the transparent plastic and this is where the water gets in. It rained for about 4 hours and was an unusually wet day, but whilst this product may be ok in a shower, it's not waterproof and is not suitable for use on wet days. Disappointing

Seems sturdy and well made. This replaces a previous holder that lasted about 20 years, so we've a while to wait to see if it matches expectation! The opening is designed to fold over twice and then velcro, so it should certainly be secure and watertight - but whether the plastic will take repeated folding / unfolding is another thing. There are extra velco straps so it can be used folded in half, but they're not really in quite the right position and not "velcro-y" enough to stay down, so doesn't really work well in that mode. The strap could be longer to make it easier to wear round neck + shoulder.

There's an old saying "buy cheap buy twice", which definitely doesn't apply to this product. It does exactly what it's supposed to do i.e. kept my map perfectly dry when it was chucking it down all week on a recent week away in Fort William and it's environs so can't fault it. I don't get out walking as much as I used to, so it's perfect for those odd days when I can get away and practice my orienteering! Worth the money

Easy to use and cheaply made but they do the job because they are cheap. Well worth buying.

L’étui étanche pour cartes est un excellent ajout à mes aventures en plein air. Il garde mes cartes protégées de l'humidité et me permet d'accéder facilement à mes informations lorsque je suis en déplacement. Il est vraiment pratique et a un bon format qui prend pas trop de place

Habia usado ya otros portamapas, pero este los sulera con creces. Excelente opcion para el precio que tiene, compré dos mas para darlos como regalo!

Bier umgekippt, Hülle lag mit einer Ecke drin. Das Gurtband am Rand sog das Bier an und leitete dies ins innere weiter. Damit hat der Artikel den Einsatzzweck verfehlt. Wasserdichtigkeit reicht mmn so ungefähr gegen feuchte Aussprache. Ist aber eigentlich logisch, da die Teile vernäht und nicht verschweißt sind. Wermutstropfen sind die viele Befestigungs, umklett- und Aufhängungsmöglichkeiten. Würde ich nicht nochmal kaufen.

Ce porte-carte est transparents des 2 côtés, ce qui permet d'accéder à deux documents simultanément ou de plier la carte de façon à n'avoir qu'à retourner le porte carte. Cependant, il manque 2-3 cm à ce porte-carte pour être confortable. En effet, les dimensions affichées sont les dimensions extérieures. Par conséquent, et comme on peut le voir sur les photos, il ne permet pas de protéger une feuille A4 sans en plier les bords. De même, on ne peut afficher que 2 plis de carte. Dans le même ordre d'idée, la dragonne réglable est un peu courte. A part ça, les matériaux utilisés, et en particulier le plastique transparent, sont d'assez bonne qualité et devrait durer sur le terrain. La fermeture à velcro parait bien étanche (pas testé). Pour un usage occasionnel, ça devrait suffire. Le rapport qualité/prix reste bon.
