unfortunately amazon will not let me return this as it's against policy, received the item quickly, had product from 2 batches in my delivery - batch 040924 several of the pieces of jerky have a very strong ammonia flavor to them, this is not normal for this product at all, tried contacting bulk through their own website and the support agent didn't want to know, just directed to amazon - amazon won't replace

i ordered in April and received items without best before tags and one that was already 2 months out of date. the products in date tasted fine. value enough for money.

After reading all the comments saying it was like eating cardboard, not that I ever have done.. it is actually a pleasant tasting Jerky. Some just overwhelm you with flavour. And the last time I checked you have to work ya jerk, get the saliva in the game. And with me having colitis, diverticular disease, this isn't to powerful, so not had a flare up with it either. When other brands, as tasty as they are always gave me a flare up, resulting in hospital. I hold high hopes with this brand. Its no where near as bad people make it out to be. Would you like it to arrive soaking wet. The whole point of biltong, Jerky is that it's dried and cured with flavours. I will be buying this again. Nothing wrong with the product.. Missing a star as cannot taste coriander. Still for the price, no other complaints. Happy...

I love a lot of Bulk's products but this is some of the worst jerky I've tasted - really tough to chew, too dry and lacking in flavour, more like chewing some dodgy old leather than quality jerky. If you want something half decent, I'd recommend buying pretty much anywhere else.

I'll be honest maybe it's just not my thing but this tasted like a hippos rear end. It almost tasted like blood and was very tough to chew and get through. I actually checked 3 times on the packet to make sure it wasn't either raw or dog food. At least it's dirt cheap but unfortunately you get what you pay for. Dirt.

Great flavour and texture, be aware lots of people have said it's junk because it looks fibrous, all meet is when dry out properly. Once it's in your mouth it melts into a great jerky with a pull to it.
