Bosch Professional 1x Cloth Dust Bag (Accessories for Planers)

An absolutely essential accessory for your planer - traps a good 95% of the shavings which otherwise go all over the place - I know that from experience. However £29 which is the lowest price I could find is still pretty outrageous for a glorified cloth bag but of course they know you have to have one so charge what they like.

I honestly couldn't believe the price of this, which is why my old one was more duct tape than bag, and yes the stitching inside has so many loose threads that catch the zip that you have to sit for ages trimming them or it would be unusable, but it's a good bag ,it's light but strong my old one lasted for at least a couple of hundred doors before it gave up.

It is what it is, a largish capacity cloth bag that catches the sawdust and chips from your boschh power plane. It's pretty ugly when it's stuck on the side of the plane and It certainly isn't cheap but having worked both with and without it I would say it is essential. Shame it doesn't come with the tool really. You get the bag and an adapter to fit it onto a few different models of tool.

Excellent product definitely required for the planer which creates a lot of dust.

The dust bag works well enough. However I've given it less than 5 stars due to the fact it's somewhat expensive. For the life of me I don't understand why this isn't included standard when you purchase the appropriate planer. Using a planer without a proper collection system is a lot of unnecessary work added to whatever you may be doing.

I'm a professional Carpenter & Joiner. I was almost put off by some of th reviews here. Thought I would give it a go and see how I get on. This dust bag has been built alot better than the one that came with my tool. Some have complained about the bag sticking out too much but my last bag got sucked under the planer and ripped to shreds. The wire frame within the bag is much better than the one that came with my tool. Very impressed with this product and well worth the money

Well made and saves some of the mess blowing around. Just a little disappointing this’ll item isn’t included within purchase of the electric plane …

Très pratique à l'usage. Plus de copeaux partout et même récupération pour mettre dans le compost. Je l'utilise à chaque usage.

Bedingt durch die Größe passt natürlich nicht viel rein. Aber gut geeignet für "auf die Schnelle mal glatt hobeln". Bei größeren Flächen macht eine vernünftige Absaugung natürlich mehr Sinn. Verarbeitung völlig okay, das Drahtstützgestänge im inneren ist stabil. Schade ist nur,daß man den Spänefangbeutel extra kaufen muss. Der Koffer vom Boschhobel bietet extra eine Möglichkeit, um den Beutel aufzubewahren. Bei dem Preis des Hobels müsste der Fangsack eigentlich inklusive sein.
