Interesting idea
I have not heard of oil pulling before so had to do some research as the instructions are pretty basic. The pack recommends 10 - 15 ml per use . They suggest starting the swilling around your mouth for just a couple of minutes then building up to longer - some google sites recommend 20 minutes!!It kind of exercises your mouth whilst helping with gum and teeth issues including - dental caries, gingivitis, oral candidiasis and periodontitis. My teeth are not great but the damage is done so there is no helping them but I rather hope to stop my gums receding any further so hoping this will help.It s a strange sensation - not fresh and clean feeling like when you use mouthwash. After the swishing around my mouth didn't feel fresh and clean and I felt I needed a good drink of water . It doesn't taste that great and feels oily which isn't surprising.I can't say I'm sold on this and won't be buying it again,

Good results but very fiddly to do
I have researched quite a lot about pulling and was very interested as my gums are in a terrible state. When I received the bottle, it was in a cardboard box but it wasn't sealed, so that made me a bit hesitant to use it. Even when I opened the bottle, there was no seal on it, and the bottle was a bit dusty. But I thought, it's only oil, I'm not going to swallow it.But then came the next obstacle, the oil inside the bottle had completely solidified. So I had to put the bottle in warm water for about half an hour just to get it to a stage where it melted. I just wish there was a measuring cap included, but there isn't. Once the oil melted I was able to squeeze some of it out of the bottle. Now, the instructions say to swish the oil around the mouth for a good few minutes. It was unusual the first few times, but I have now got used to it.The oil has a strange taste to it, clove and spearmint is a strange combination. Anyway, after using it for a few times, I can't really see any impact, but my teeth and gums don't feel as clagged up with gunk.

Oil pulling product
This product should be an oil for swishing round the mouth, however it is completely solid and impossible to get out of the bottle.

Fresh mouth feeling
I've done oil pulling in the past with a commercial product and I found it enjoyable. While I didn't do it regularly or long enough to notice a whitening effect to my teeth, I found it easy to incorporate and the idea that it can help with gum health was and still is really important to me.This product contains a mix of Indian ayurvedic herbs combined in a bottle so you don't need to do any of the research, it's all done for you. For example the use of clove for gum health and conveniently it's part of the ingredients here!I'm of Indian decent so I've grown up with spices in my life, for others this product may have an acquired taste. I found myself thinking of bombay mix while doing my swish because some of the spices are used in Indian cooking too. So while I'm trying the product, I'm also getting hungry! I swished the oil in my mouth for maybe 5 minutes and as you do this you'll notice the texture of the oil in your mouth to change and slowly become more liquid and easy to move around your mouth. After I spit it out my mouth felt fresh and nice.I really like this product but the main thing to be aware of is the taste. This contains Indian herbs and spices so the flavour may not be for everyone however, this product contains ingredients for their ayurvedic benefits so if you can get past the taste then this may be a good match for you. I personally like it and I'm excited to continue using it x

Too costly for the condition it came in.
My main concern with this product was the condition of the bottle when it arrived. It looked battered and scraped like it was lying in the attic for years. There was no foil tamper seal on it, which was quite concerning. I'm reluctant to use the product for this reason. Won't be purchasing again.

Good for mouth hygiene
I recently discovered Shivamastu Ayurveda Swish Oil, an organic oil-pulling rinse with coconut oil for oral health, teeth, and gums. After learning about the many benefits of oil pulling, I decided to give it a try and see if it had any effect on my oral health.I'm so glad I did because it made a huge difference. After using the oil, my teeth felt noticeably cleaner and my gums felt healthier. The addition of organic Ayurvedic herbs also helps to promote oral health and reduce inflammation in the gums. The combination of organic sesame and coconut oils also helps to protect the teeth and gums from acid erosion. I found that after using the product, my teeth felt stronger and my gums felt better. The only downside I noticed was that the oil can be a bit messy when used in the mouth. It's important to make sure that you have a cup or container to spit the oil into after you have finished swishing it around. If you don't, the oil can get everywhere!Overall, I've been extremely pleased with the results of using Shivamastu Ayurveda Swish Oil for oil pulling. It's made a huge difference in my oral health and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their oral health.

Good for oral health - but an acquired tasted
You'll probably only go for this if you're used to oil-pulling, as it's really quite a different take on a mouth rinse. I never find oil-pulling particularly leaves my mouth feeling 'fresh' like a mouth wash, but it somehow makes it feel 'clean'. I have oil-pulled before with just coconut oil on it's own... you do have to get used to the feel of oil swishing around your mouth! This one, with the herbal content, is definitely more of an acquired taste and I can see it not being to many peoples likes, but if you like oil-pulling then I think this is a nice one to try! Good for oral health and overall health too.
