Looks to be a nice addition to my took kit. Just about to undertake some carpentry work so will come in handy. So,for the price I reckon it's a good buy

Metal section could be made of less flexible metal

Be cautious with this item if you want an accurate square.Fine for drawing lines for cutting items that dont need to be accurate as this is slightly out and not completely accurate.Eg would not use to mark off wood flooring for cutting etc.

To be honest, don’t know how I managed without one before. Does what it says on the tin, and I have no doubt it’s sturdiness will stand the test of time.

it wasn’t until I’d sawed about 10 bits of wood and measured everything up again afterwards that I realised this carpenters saw isn’t straight. How can they get such a simple thing so wrong!
