TLBTEK Laptop Keyboard Replacement Compatible with Lenovo IBM Thinkpad T470 T480 A475 A485 Series

After an accident with a glass of soda, this replacement keyboard brought the laptop back to life.

The keyboard arrived with a loose touchpad key. There is a big difference in quality between this keyboard and the original one detectable. I live oversee and can not send back.

the keys feel really mushy compared to original but the main issue is the trackpoint. it seems to snap the angle to straight up/down/left/right, which makes it impossible to move diagonally. for reference, i enjoy thinkpad's actual trackpoint so much that i disabled the trackpad and i genuinely use it for FPS gaming like a maniac - having said that, the attached image is me drawing a circle in MS paint on this garbage. you also cant move it a little bit, its like it has a deadzone and after reaching a certain threshhold it jumps an inch across your screen. you also cant adjust the sensitivity. overall this works decently well if you dont care about trackpoint which is most people

I'm impressed with this TLBTEK keyboard. It's a brand new keyboard compatible with my Lenovo T480 Thinkpad. While a backlight is possible with the T480, it's not necessary and, honestly, it's not something I use very much so this keyboard is just fine for me. The keyboard was well packaged with bubble wrap and supportive cardboard to help it arrive safe too.

The keyboard is very low quality, and the keys are not properly stabilized. If I press on the left shift key exactly where I normally press it, it does not register and activate the shift modifier. The keyboard also has way too much flex, and the backlight is very dim, and does not light up the letters in a way that is useful in the dark.

I goofed - I thought I was ordering a replacement keyboard rather than replacement components.Came well packed and I am sure it would be a good component replacement.

They tactile springy touch is bad on the space bar and the 8 key. Manufacturing defect, but I guess I can live with it. QC on this keyboard probably never done.Will see if I can exchange it. Having a dull space bar can really affect your typing!
