Storz & Bickel MIGHTY

I expected this to be a complete waste of money after trying a few much cheaper dry herb vapes but damn this thing is lethal. Get an actual cloud with this and if you're vaping at 190-200 make sure you're not cooking while doing so my spaghetti is now black.

It’s a chunky piece of work, feels very solid in my hand. Although it’s meant to be portable, it’s not exactly small or discreet – if the Pax V3 is like a recorder, the Mighty is a set of decent sized panpipes! The image is my Mighty next to my LG TV Remote, so hopefully that gives a good idea of how big it is.Straight out of the box, the Mighty is easy to use. There is the option to use dosing caps provided, as well as a handy little grinder/storage thing, but I didn’t use them. The heating time to 201 didn’t feel particularly long (possibly because I vape at home so there were other things I could do with my time) and the first inhale was cool and tasted very green. As it heated for longer, the temperature on my lips never reached an uncomfortable state, didn’t make me cough or cause discomfort, so all good. Loading the Mighty can get a little messy and sometimes I could see bits of herb getting caught in the little threads alongside the bowl at the top – no doubt, I’ll see those again when I do a full clean-through!I have read a few people saying that going from smoking joints to vaping means that they have felt a lessening of the effect of their herb. I didn’t find that – I was still floating if that was the smoking effect, but it was a gentler high and didn’t seem to last as long. Saying that, one bowl from the Mighty was enough to make me feel no pain from my knees or back, and send me off to sleep.I have not dismantled my Mighty all the way down. I have taken apart the cooling unit and cleaned it and the bowl with ISO, changed the filter from the mouthpiece and put it back together again. I was a little bit concerned taking it apart even this small amount because I was worried about breaking/snapping pieces off. However, the Mighty was more than sturdy enough and once I accepted that I wasn’t going to cause any damage, I found it easy to put together again with no mishaps.Charging-wise, the Mighty has a good length cable and I bought a 3D printed stand from Amazon as it doesn’t stand up alone due to the rounded bottom, and it sits neatly on a shelf whilst charging overnight. The battery seems to last me for approximately two sessions so I can use it easily for micro-dosing throughout the day. I’m not sure how well it would last if you were taking it out and about.I know that Storz & Bickel have brought out a newer version of the Mighty (the Mighty Plus) which cost just over £300 at the time I was purchasing. They have also brought out a completely new vape called the Venty which is over £400 – I don’t think I’m ready for that commitment just yet! However, Storz & Bickel have an excellent reputation in the vaping field, and based on my experiences with the Mighty it is well deserved. Since purchasing it, I have pretty much stopped using my Pax V3 as the Mighty services all of my needs without hassle. I might consider getting the Mighty Plus if I see it in a sale or have a voucher as I understand it charges using a USB-C cable which would probably come in handy for lessening all of the charging cables I have plugged in.At some point, I will have to disassemble the whole unit to give it a good clean – I must admit, I’m not looking forward to that because I’m a little scared of inadvertently breaking/messing up the unit but that’s an issue for future me – in the meantime, I’m quite happy with my Mighty and don’t hesitate to recommend it.

I am a U.K Registered Medicinal Cannabis Patient and this is the best Vape I have purchased for the flower. It's easy to use and you can control the temperature and increase or decrease it yourself without hassle. I haven't timed how long it takes to charge but it takes a little while. If you use medicinal cannabis to smoke then I definitely recommend this vape.

When this device is working, it works like a dream - everything stated in the 5 star review by Wiley Peet is correct. However, I suspect that review was written shortly after the item was delivered. I purchased this device less than 3 months ago, and the power button has failed: the vaporizer can no longer be turned on, and something seems to have come loose inside evidenced by a rattling sound when shaken. The unit I purchased came from Superstars, and they have said that they have no responsibility to have the item replaced, or repaired. They told me it was between me and the manufacturer, and sent me a link to the Storz and Bickel website. I contacted Storz and Bickel, and I am expected to send the device to Germany at my own expense to have it examined to see if they are liable to repair it. If they feel they are not responsible, ie if the damage was initiated as a result of careless handling during delivery, they will send me the repair bill, and retain the device until I have paid the bill. The current situation is that Amazon are investigating to see if I am entitled to a replacement. Therefore I am currently stuck on a merry-go-round of supplier, manufacturer, mega-retailer for god knows how long. If you were considering justifying this purchase based on the quality of German engineering, I sincerely suggest you save a massive amount to money and effort, and buy a Magic Flight Launch Box or similar.Ok, so quick edit: If you search the appropriate forums, ahem, FC for example, you will see a lot of people reporting failures of both the Mighty and the Crafty. Storz and Bickel are new to the portable vaporizer game, so it looks as though they are beta testing on paying customers! My advice is to avoid these products until testing is over and these devices are up to the same high standard as the Volcano.EDIT 2: I've changed the rating from 1 star to 4 stars. This is purely down to the level of customer service provided by Storz and Bickel. A new device was sent out the moment they received the faulty one. I only sent the main body of the vaporizer as per the instructions on their website. I received a brand new vaporizer with all attachments and accessories including a charger. On top of that, I was given a 10 euro voucher to spend in their online shop - this was to help compensate for my shipping charges, which it did. I was without the vaporizer for two weeks, but I feel I've been well compensated for the inconvenience by Storz and Bickel. If you are buying one of these, avoid buying from the Market Place seller Superstars, and if things go wrong after 14 days, Amazon will not help you.
