I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this tuner. It’s a good size so it doesn’t get annoying on the headstock - easy to use - accurate. It occasionally takes you to the wrong note but only for a second and not consistently. Also the display is pretty cool. It also automatically turns off after a little while which is really helpful, because I never remember and would likely have drained the battery already if not for this feature. D’addario are a well known name, and for the low price I was very happy with this purchase. I even got it on a deal and paid less!

I like this. It seems to work OK. Time will tell. The last two I had gave up after very little use. Hopefully this D’Addario will perform better.

Easy to use and accurate. I’m almost tone deaf so this makes my life a lot easier.

Colorful, easy to read segmented display with a very cool runway effect when powering up or down, I love that it's just a straight chromatic tuner - no accidently nudging it into pointless violin or banjo modes, the master tune frequency is clearly displayed as well and can be easily adjusted with the up and down arrows. The game changer for me is being able to rotate the display so I can always read it in an upright position - I've used it on my 4 and 5 string basses, plus my upright bass - the display is always upright, easy to read and well calibrated - it's not skittishly jumping around trying to micro read the pitch for every nanosecond the string is vibrating, it will allow you to get near to the target pitch and nudge gently to target, critical for fast onstage tuning. This is my second clip on tuner in about seven years or so and it seems that they've really thought out the important things such as readability and adjustment, the only thing I'd really like to see on tuning gadgets like these is usb charging, otherwise I'd say this clip on even outshines my expensive digital pedal based tuner.

its ok but i find it doesn't always pick up the note and screen remains blank, i've tried different positions but same problem, its fine otherwise with a clear display and accurate

I've owned several tuners in my life and this is the cheapest material and poorest pitch of any of all of them. I don't understand why everyone else gives it such good reviews.

I’ve been using this D’Addario clip-on tuner for quite a while, and it has been very convenient and reliable. It is compact and lightweight, so I can leave it attached to the headstock without it getting in the way. The clip holds securely, and it’s easy to reposition when needed. The display is bright and easy to read, and tuning is quick and straightforward. In my experience, the tuning accuracy and response are very good, which is the most important thing for a tuner. I also like how simple it is to use. Clip it on, turn it on, tune the instrument, and you’re done. There’s really no unnecessary complexity. After long-term use, it has continued to work well and has become a regular part of my guitar setup. Good quality, compact size, accurate tuning, and very easy to use.
