Fine dust clogs it up quite badly so this needs to be done fairly often. It might be possible to modify it to fit a cyclone as an add on though. Hope this helps **Q: Is this any good for drills, jigsaws, etc?** A: can connect any tool which has an outlet for collecting the dust,generally drills don't have one but you can fix a sort of cap around the hole that you are drilling and attatch the collector to that but it would be pretty awkward and probably not worth the effort. These dust collectors are most useful at the workbench. **Q: Anyone Know why i cant get the hose to fit my tra001 router. Also any adaptor to fit other tools such as my jcb random orbital sander?** A: Same problem with my bosch circular saw but fixed it by using short lenth 32mm plastic waste pipe. Warming (gently) the end of the hose softens it enough to get pipe into hose which stays fixed when it cools. 32mm waste fits tightly in saw. Obviously u could try different size pipes for other tools. **Q: In the instructions there is mention of vales to fit the two side inlet/ outlets are these provided. For this price, it's not worth wasting your time in building a DIY dust collection bucket! 1). One of the connectors (black with red interior) has developed a crack after a few days. Probably it had a hidden manufacturing flaw. 2). The filter is becoming clogged too fast, but it has a very good filtration capacity even for fine powders. You can easily remove it and wash it with warm water. I'm working on a custom made disposable ecological/biodegradable filter (it will be very cheap!) and hopefully it will be on the market in a couple of months. 3). The stability of the bucket is not the best (to say the least) if you are moving around with the tools attached. The solution for this is: a 6 quid trolley (it's called Diall Trolley/Plant Pot Mover and you can find it at B&Q) + a 3 quid Halfords Luggage Elastic. 4). The price should be lower, around 30 quid and I can guarantee you that this would be called a "killer deal". 5). My recommendation would be to use this dust collection bucket with a professional vacuum cleaner. You cannot go wrong with a Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuum cleaner! Don't waste your money on other more expensive brands because Shop-Vac has one of the most powerful suction (for ONE motor) I've seen so far and they are honest about the Air Watts too... 6). Would I choose an ULTRA PORTABLE Cyclone Dust Collection solution over this one? No, because you cannot attach a disposable filter to capture very small particles and still be able to move it around the whole day.
