These are heavy duty. Love them.

These brackets are excellent. I used them to make a couple of floating bookshelves, and they turned out great. I have no doubt each of the larger shelves could bear over 200lbs. That's with 4 brackets per 5 foot shelf. One thing to keep in mind is that the two sets of mounting holes on each bracket are not both going to line up with a 2x4 wall stud oriented as they are. I lined up one set of mounting holes with the stud to mount directly to that, and used the provided drywall anchors for the other pair. The drywall anchors were the self drilling expanding helical variety which worked fantastic. The brackets are heavy duty and great quality for the price.

These were used to hold butcher block shelves. Sturdy and well-made. Cheaper then buying floating shelves.

Having repurposed these shelf brackets, I thought this review might not be of interest to other buyers. I was nonetheless encouraged by the seller to post it.I had been searching for angle steel to use as a gate stop for a garden gate I was rebuilding along side a brick house. I needed a couple of sturdy pieces of angle steel that could withstand repeated, possibly forceful, closings of a 45 lb gate. After evaluating the options available on Amazon, I chose these shelf brackets to serve as my gate stop.As the attached pictures show, I dadoed a groove into a 2x6 attached to the house. I mounted the brackets even with the face of the 2x6. I then installed two 2-inch long cabinet magnets to the open side of the gate aligned with the brackets. The only modification I made to the brackets was the addition of a second mounting hole on the bracket arm. These 5mm, powder-coated "shelf brackets" were perfect for the job which, by the way, turned out beautifully.

I was impressed by the thickness of these brackets. Easy to install and look great. Highly recommend
