Maluhia

My family and I love Kealii Reichel's music, anyway, but you never know what you're going to get from a Christmas Album. In one word, this album is MAGIC! He is truly an artist and just knows how to sing songs, any songs, right. If you like Hawaiian music, if you like Christmas music, this album is a must have for any audio library. I'm going to start buying them and giving them out as gifts to people I know who would appreciate this kind of music. Really beautiful. I bought it late in the season so only listened to it once or twice, but every song was so beautiful and really put me in the spirit of the season. It was just what I needed, so although late, it came at the right time.

I hadn't heard of Keali'i Reichel until recently. I heard his music for the first time about 6 months ago (approx) on an internet radio station. He is very talented, and has stayed true to Hawaiian culture, along with singing soft, popular songs. He has an amazing range of talent. Very soothing voice, very pleasing to listen to. His Hawaiian chants are interesting, as well. Through him, I have learned more about Hawaii than I had known before. Since hearing his songs, I have bought several of his CDs and I am considering buying his DVD. He is extraordinary.

Keali'i Reichel shines with his Christmas cd, Maluhia. I have given this to all of my friends as gifts, and everybody, even those who have no exposure to Hawaiian music, LOVE it! It opens with the hauntingly lovely Nu Oli, and continues with some old favorites such as Silent Night, sung in both English and Hawaiian. Breathtaking! The title song, Maluhia, is classic Reichel. His voice is soothing and this album rejoyces in the season. Get it. You won't be sorry.

A wonderful mixture of traditional and non-traditional Christmas songs. Keali'i's voice is so soothing I could listen to him all day long. My favorites are "Remind me of Home" and "Ke Au Maluhia". I'd recommend it to anyone who is a fan o Keali'i and loves Hawaiian music and songs. A great addition to your collection of Christmas cd's.

His beautiful voice is therefore perfect suited for this mixture of known and new Christmas Songs with his distinct twist of Hawaiian Spice. A CD that tells of longing, of the joy of the Children around the Holidays, the precious smiles on faces, of warm welcomes, Greetings, of Hope, Love and Family Celebrations. You might find it magically finds its way to the CD player again and again, all thru out the Christmas season!

The Maluhia by Keali'i Reichel CD was a nice holiday product. Having never heard Keali'i Reichel before I was pleasantly surprised by the natural vocal and rhythm of the music. He has great talent and I will be looking for his next release.

A beautiful album! Keali'i Reichel presents his own heartfelt renditions of traditional and popular Holiday songs from Hawai'i, Europe and America. The opening choral selection transports us to Pa'ia Protestant Church, where Keali'i has worshipped and marked many important family occasions. Classics such as "Silent Night" and "O Holy Night" and less familiar pop songs like "Merry Christmas Darling" and "Till the Season Comes 'Round Again" show the different musical facets of Keai'i's Christmas.

I got a sample of his music in a Hawaii travel book, and listened to it about a month after returning from Kauai. I was immediately transported back to all that I love about Hawaii. In addition, his music brings together many things I like about music - melodious, caring, inspiring, relaxing. I just feel wonderful when I am listening to it. This album is a great combination of that wonderful Hawaiian feeling plus some of the traditional Christmas music. Enjoy!

とってもしっとりしたアルバムです。 クリスマスっぽくウキウキというわけではなく、落ち着いて気持ちよく聴けます。何回聴いても飽きないし、年中聴けると思います。声がいいです。

中に入ってるクリスマスララバイをフラで踊っていらっしゃる方がいらして とても素敵で購入しました。どれもほんとに癒されます。 クリスマスが楽しみです。
