Are they virtually indestructable

Nothing is indestructible, not even me, and as Patch, my Welsh Border Collie, is more explosive than a stick of dynamite and who gets through a cheap Chinese tennis ball by the second bite I reckon these are going to outlast me and Patch (he is only 2 and I am 72) and we exercise at least 4 - 6 hours a day. Pity they are in a pack of two because I do not think the second ball will ever get used unless, of course, he loses his sense of smell or nose!

Do these balls have fur on them (like normal tennis balls) ?

Nope, they are plasticky but don't let that put you off them, I was getting thru tennis balls like Andy Murray at Wimbledon, several weeks on and my dog still hasn't managed to knacker the first of the two in this pack.

are these balls soft enough to ensure dog's teeth are ok?my gsd will do anything to catch a ball mid air so need something that doesn't damage teeth
