Use for welding / fastening steel parts that are subject to moderate to low stress usage. Process went well and easily according to instructions. Weld seems pretty good and easy to clean up. Long term viability & durability of joint is yet to be determined. Unfortunately product comes without instructions so I followed the instructions ON WEB

Described as low heat rod. False. I used heat gun on metal 1300 which is way over 750% for 30 min. Weld rods did nothing but scratch the metal surface. Melting was impossible with heat gun. Propane tank flame is needed.Otherwise, it's just another something taking up space in the tool box.

Quality, service, and speed
I ordered one of many aluminum brazing supplies, and this vendor's offering was exactly what I needed to construct my greenhouse lighting fixtures. The flux-core rods did an excellent job of joining heat sinks and supports, and at a low enough temperature that I could use propane instead of the more costly MAPP style gases usually employed. The price was quite reasonable, and the product was delivered a day in advance of prediction. Excellent service, excellent product, 5-star vendor.

Smaller then I thought, but work well.

Terrible ending.
It is probably me? But I could not get these to work. I would get the metal some time to the melting point and the rods would only ball up and roll off. I weld good with a ark or wire feed welder but this is a whole different ball game.

Got here on time
So far I can't get them to work. Tried to lap weld two pieces of 1/8" angled Aluminum. Heated the metal to the point the metal was turning brown and the stick still would NOT melt.The stick would melt if I put it into the flame, but then it just clumped up and when I used the wire brush after, all the weld just flaked off.When I took it out of the clamp they just fell apart.I had better success with JB Weld and those pieces still came apart, but with a lot more force needed.Later I am going to try two pieces of 1/16" Aluminum, but I don't think it is going to work.
