This leaves the original, more complex wiring box, untouched. This is especially advisable if you have several zone values in addition to a hotwater valve. On a previous failure, the original terminals were crammed on my system and it was very difficult to remove individual wires and then try and insert new ones, whilst keeping other wires in place! **** Reminder: Do this at your own risk - get a qualified Electrician to install, check etc. !!!! :) Other tips: I found no problems - but do DOUBLE-check the connections - including INSIDE the valve - especially the Earth!! That is just pull off the Horstmann and replace it without any plumbing needing done?** A: Yes!!! You must ensure that the control is set to manual and just simply remove. The converse applies, ensure the control is set to manual and replace over the valve.
