Awesome case
The cutouts are perfect, it seemed a little weird installing due to how you have to settle the device in there, but ultimately it protects the screen and device overall very well, and the fit allows for all functions to be accessed. It looks professional quality as well, while adding very little weight. The hand strap on the back is a nice added feature as well.

So nice i bought it twice.
I had originally purchased the Kensington Blackbelt case for the Surface Pro 4 a year ago. I loved it, and being a martial artist it was a kick to have something with the name blackbelt actually be high quality. Once I purchased the Surface Go, I immediately looked to see if Kensington had one for it as well.. and it didn't! ugh lol, it took months of careful waiting until it finally became available! Once it did, I picked it up ASAP. mine arrived today and I'm happy as hell. same design, same sturdy border type cover goes on easy no ports are block. strap fits and feels well even with my fat hands. the pen holder and string on the GO case is a nice touch, even if it makes me feel like I'm at a doctors office lol I highly recommend this case for the go. I like using the build in kickstand and having access to the sd card slot, unlike other brands.

The clip on the tether is looser than the clip on the case! Tether clip doesn't hold my pencil!!
All in all, this is a WONDERFUL case! Everything about its design is terrific. Perfect fit for my new Surface Go 2 tablet, wonderful touch and weight and overall layout. However, I didn't buy a Microsoft pencil (for $100), instead opting for a wonderful Renaisser stylus for Surface (for $30). Works perfectly, and saved me lots of money. Now the Renaisser pencil is .36" in diameter whereas the official Microsoft Surface Pen is .38" in diameter. Doesn't seem like much, but apparently it is critical. And it's critical because the tether that comes with the Kensington BlackBelt case and which connects to the case (and which is designed to hold the pen on a foot-long string when it is not clipped in to the built-in primary clip on the left edge of the case, and to prevent it from getting lost or falling on the floor) has its own second clip at the end of the stringl This second clip is supposed to hold the pen on a string permanently, even when the pen is removed from the primary fixed clip on the left edge of the case.Well, the secondary clip at the end of the tether IS TOO LARGE for my Renaisser stylus. It does not hold it at all. Perhaps it would work if only my pen were just .02" fatter, to match the size of the Microsoft Stylus, I don't know. I only know that it does NOT hold my Renaisser pen which is .36: in diameter. Now in contrast, the primary built-in fixed clip that is on the left edge of the BlackBelt case itself, well whatever its diameter is turns out to be PERFECT! The Renaisser pen pushes into this case clip perfectly and snugly and tightly. It is held 100% stationary and wonderfully. If only a clip with exactly the same diameter and tension had been used for the clip at the end of the tether I would be happy!Unfortunately, not the case. So I'm not really happy, at least regarding the tether and its clip which is larger than the primary clip on the case. So the case is great, the primary fixed case clip is great, and the tether and its larger clip is totally worthless... at least for my Renaisser pen.I wish Kensington sole a separate tether with a tighter smaller-diameter clip (to match that of the primary fixed clip on the case) but they don't. So I've removed the tether and tossed it away. The Renaisser pen simply fits into the primary clip until I remove it to use it, and then put it back. No tether in use, although I really would have liked to have it.Aside from that, the BlackBelt case is terrific. Highly recommended. The glove-like belt on its back side is a wonderful design, allowing you to hold the table securely from the rear with your entire open hand, while using your other hand to tap on the screen or use the pen. It's as stable as you could possibly want, with one hand inserted through the strap on the back like a glove.

Dropped computer with 0 damage
easy to install. Durable. I have bought 3 for my family's computers. Has saved more than 1 from a fall. I like the little tab to keep computer closed and the loop for my pen.

Wow! Now THAT is a Fit
I have had my Surface GO for a few years, its my right hand for work/home and play - 24/7. I have tried a few cases along the way, but this is by far - hands down - the best and well thought out! This case is awesome. Perfect fit, is slimline but snug and very secure and also has a holder for my pen etc. If you have a keyboard, that fit is great too and there is actually a flip tab to hold that in place. The hand strap on the back ... stuck like glue, snug and secure. Two things of note ... the pen holder is on the left side, I would switch that, or lengthen the cord, only because it is great where it is for vertical writing, but not so much for horizontal writing.Second is the charging port (and I 'get' why the pen holder is on the left side) I got a warning the other morning that I was out of power, even though I charge it every night. The way the protection sides are set up, you need to be very aware that your power cable actually 'lights up' when you plug it in. Neither of those are deal breakers, just something that you need to take notice of.If I ever need another one ... I know what brand I am going to buy

Overheated Surface Pro & Broke
This is touted as a case that won't overheat your SurfacePro, but I've been using it on my SurfacePro everyday for the last 2.5 months and when my SurfacePro is plugged in while I use it, it heats up in the case.I've begun taking it out of the case when I'm using it while it's plugged in, and the SurfacePro cools down, but the same corner broke on my cover as another customer said broke on their theirs. I thought it's because my SurfacePro fell off the small table I use it on at school (on a carpeted floor) last week, but now I wonder if it's because I've removed it a few times when it's overheating.I won't be purchasing it again as it didn't even last 3 months, let alone the 4 years I hoped it would last.
