Whether you need it for reading or close up work, I use mine for small print this is a really handy gadget to own. its just the right size for the palm of the hand and not to heavy unless you have severe arthritis. It is strong the handle feels comfortable in the hand left or right. The Glass is clear and a significant improvement on the naked eye to see Small Print. The addition of the LED Bulb gives it just enough brightness for what ever you are viewing to stand out a bit like highlighted type. Or if you are searching for someone like a black object on a black surface the illumination also helps. I have not used this to read a full A4 page and it is not hands free but I prefere this item as others I have tried as hands free were not up to the quality expected. very solid purchase.

No problems with the supplier, maintained schedule...I had already purchased a similar magnifier but perhaps due to my eye condition [AMD.] had problems with distortion...this EasY Magnifier was the answers, enabling me to read small print with "the minimum of distortion" would reccomend for the elderly or partially sighted, comfortable in the hand with minimal of movement required.
