I would love to see these beauties in wine glasses. Just a suggestion.** A: I agree that they'd make super wine glasses, but they may be too fragile in such a small "bowl" area. **Q: How heavy is just the cup? I see the total weight is 2lbs and want to make sure the cup itself will not be too heavy for my 92yo mother.** A: The short cup seems to be a little heavier than the tall cup. If you’re talking about the set of 4, than I would say a little over 1/4 lb. The metal makes the cups heavy. **Q: How can I purchase the saucer only?** A: I do not think you can. You will need to see if you can contact the seller. The price is really quite good for the tea cup , saucer and spoon **Q: Does it come with the plate?** A: Some cups comes with a plate, lid, spoon, others come with a spoon and coaster, some are short some tall. It depends on which style you order. I think they are beautiful but hand wash only and no microwave.
