Hi - have just measurered and the stated dimensions are pretty accurate. Precise width - mine is actually nearer to 32cm, depth 37cm and height 13cm, hope this helps you.

This is made of polystyrene?

Yes as far as I remember. Polystyrene is incredibly strong and light weight. Remember this is only to boost (increase) the height of the child to be positioned correctly for the car seatbelt. The polystyrene has a material cover.
