Has it got a compartment for holding coins?

Im afraid not. Plenty of room for cc cards though, and it's quite hard wearing

How does it stay shut? is there a button or magnet?

It's a little bulky for the first few days but then flattens out and stays shut. There is no button or magnet hope this helps.

Is it suitable for 10 or 15 cards ?? (credit cards, loyalty cards, Id, ..etc ) ??

There's 9 slots + 1 ID alot. But I have like 12 in it comfortably.

does the wallet come with a box

It did when I ordered one. Quite a nice presentation box.
