Spice Drops, Spiced Gum Drops, Gummy Candy, 2 Lb Bag

I have ordered many times and they have been great. But this last time they are hard as rocks and have no flavor. I will not risk the money again. UPDATE: I decided to try again since they have always been good before. This time they are soft and yummy again update 2. ordered again and once again too hard to enjoy eating

If I could give a 0 star I would. These taste nothing like the regular spiced gum drops. Red: Cinnamon Orange: Clove Yellow: Sassafras or Root Beer Green: Spearmint White/Clear: Peppermint or Wintergreen Black/Purple: Anise or Licorice I’m not even sure what these flavors are they are hard like they were made 2 or 3 years ago. I will never buy these again.

Every color is a spice flavor. This is great. Some brands mix in fruit flavors which we don't like.

Let me start with this caveat experience! I am a long time member of Amazon prime! To the best of my knowledge I have never written a negative review-I have returned products- but not bothered to spend the time reviewing the product's short comings! Well people, that just changed this evening when the PO delivered this much anticipated bag of 'Spice Drops'! I really was expecting them to be the epitome of everything I like about that flavor of candy... Let the "Nightmare" begin to unfold! This candy was everything I dislike about any confection! but more to the point, this candy went above and beyond the boundaries' of what is and what isn't fit for a human with a penchant for sweets'... This bag of Spice Drops had absolutely NO flavor; lacked freshness; leached a sour after taste; closely resembled tar in its consistency! as for the $$ value? There was none, zero! As for returning the product for a refund? Because it is candy and the bag was opened, I won't everyone's time. Rest assured that I will be in an inspectors mode-candy purchasing! They are very flavorful. but I would have to say they tend to be more of a fruit drop then a spice drop. I don't know what it is but they lack that spice flavor found on other drops I have bought.

These "spice drops" arrived very hard and had a weird menthol taste. At first I thought it was due to it being delivered in the colder weather, but even after sitting for two days they remain hard and chewy. They are also noticeably smaller than expected and would be difficult to use on a gingerbread house as they have a dull powdery exterior that is not at all like old fashion spice drops. Are they old? stale? rejects? I don't know, but I am greatly disappointed in them and will not buy them again.

Very flat flavors. Last time I ordered this, flavors were true. Don't know what happened.
