Brilliant for beginners!
These easy to use children’s scissors certainly live up to their name!Absolutely fabulous for teaching toddlers scissor skills if they are finding using normal scissors difficult to manipulate. We’ve had them some months now and they are my “go to” scissors for tots. The child squeezes the handles together for the scissors to cut then releases his grip a little bit for them to spring open again. The band across the top stops them from opening too much.I’ve also been known to grab them when in a hurry and unable to find normal scissors and have been able to cut paper and thin card accurately with them. These are not safety scissors - they also cut hair, cardboard and clothing (And presumably skin...) - so don’t leave toddlers unattended or you may need an impromptu visit to the hairdresser!Photo shows two and a half year old holding them ready to cut. His hands are quite far back on the handles. This is an honest review, I hope it has been helpful. If it has been please take a second to click the “helpful” button below. Great Pre-scissor tool for toddler with low muscle tone
These have helped my just three year old daughter with Down’s syndrome manage to cut. She’s is a little way off managing regular scissors but this allows her to achieve e the desired result and will build hand strength as well as interest in mastering the real thing. Her very small hands manage them well. I was unsure about buying, but I’m glad I did.

Fantastic for kids with hypermobility
Hi our 4 year old daughter has hypermobility in her hands and finds usual scissors tricky. These are really fantastic and she is now cutting so well. Hoping this will help her transition to usual scissors in time.

Great seller, great scissors
Simple and perfect for small hands. These were recommended by the OT for my left handed child but my right handed child could also use them. The first pair got lost in the post and never arrived. When I contacted the seller they immediately replied and sent out a second pair - great customer service. Thank you!

Excellent scissors over priced
I have bought these scissors on three occasions they are excellent but I am amazed at the price rise being on a budget I searched the manufacturer website where they are priced at 3.95 and 1.96 postage. This manufacturer is excellent they supply schools and occupational workers.

Ideal for toddlers with supervision
So impressed with these- easy for my 2yo to use. Used with close supervision as they are sharp but this is a good thing as it means that they actually cut paper (unlike some child friendly scissors) stopping frustration developing and meant he concentrated really well on the activity.

Easi-Grip Children`s Scissors
I bought these for my great niece who is 2 and 4 months. They are a great idea for little fingers to begin cutting and are very good for developing fine motor skills. As an early years teacher I use these regularly with children who are just beginning to developing cutting skills and children who need support with fine motor skills, before moving onto other types of scissors. The best thing is to see the look on children`s faces when they have achieved and created something all by themselves! Would recommend.
