These are very well made sample glass bottles. The caps fit snugly holding the contents securely.Although I envision a number of uses for the bottles, we are starting by collecting items from a nearby park with a two-year old to bring back home for inspection with a microscope. (We are using the Plugable Digital Microscope to blow it up once home. Plugable USB 2.0 Digital Microscope with Flexible Arm Observation Stand for Windows, Mac, Linux (2MP, 250x Magnification) )Size can be deceiving when ordering sample bottles. We learned that the hard way, receiving another order for bottles that looked perfect in the photo, but turned out to be much smaller than envisioned. Great as replacement test tubes!
I bought these so I can have some leak proof test tubes for my aquarium. I love these! Doesn’t leak at all, they feel like good quality for its price, and the bottle is very clear to see the color!

Exactly What I Was Looking For
I was a little bit worried about ordering these initially because after browsing around a little bit I hadn't really come across a lot of great options for proper glass vials in the size I was looking for (especially ones with favorable reviews), but I decided that for the price, it was worth trying these out, and I'm glad I did! I primarily purchased these in order to hold fountain pen inks, and they're holding up for that purpose quite well so far! I can't say by any universal standard that these are perfect for holding any liquids, but the seal on the lids feels tight and holds fast, and I haven't had any leaks from them after a quick informal test of jostling and inverting.All ten vials showed up in good condition - packing was simple but effective, and they did exactly what they were supposed to.
