Definitely smaller than anticipated
Check the measurements before ordering! I bought this to replace a two part spoon that was coming apart. This one is about half the size. For me that is ok. The curvature of the spoon is perfect for scooping pasta and I love the one piece design.

Daily use
This slotted serving spoon has turned into one of the most practical utensils in the kitchen. I use it almost every day for straining vegetables or pasta from hot water. It is also the perfect size for removing a poached egg when it's finished cooking. Be careful not to stir anything thick with this like heavy batter. It is not designed for this purpose. Although it is one piece steel construction the thin neck of the spoon can and will bend under too much pressure.

Smaller than appears in pictures
Much smaller than it appears in pictures. Good quality. Too small for practical purposes. Do not buy

Perfect Size, Poor Quality Control
This is the perfect size serving spoon with a very nice weight to it. The problem is, where the handle meets the shaft of the spoon it is much thinner and can, possibly, bend. Other than the quality issue it would be a perfect serving spoon.
