Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs Paperback – 4 May 2006

I got these for the little boy down the road on his 4th birthday as he is a big fan of pirates and dinosaurs so these were perfect!! He loves reading them with his mum and she gives them a big thumbs up!

The first of two pirate dinosaur books I bought my 2 year old daughter and she loves them! She has a lot of both pirates and dinosaurs and has great fun pointing things out. The book can get a little hectic in places which can be a little distracting but at the same time, a very good tool for imaginative storytelling. The illustrations are bright and it's easy to put a lot of energy into the reading. In all a very good book for youngsters and a pleasure to read.

I love pirate dinosaurs. As an adult, I enjoy this book and the book has a sufficient length (not too short) for a 5 year old and the story is very interesting.I recommend this highly. It is the second one I bought..

I bought this book for my four year old son after we borrowed it from the library and he loved it. its got everything for a little boy, Dinosaurs, pirates, small boy heros and 'much too much tomato ketchup' you have to read the book to get the Tomato ketchup comment but its become a catchphrase in our house. Its a great book and we all love reading it at bedtime.

All pages intact, arrived in good time, packaged so it could go through the letter box. A secondhand book that has obviously been well loved. My 4 year old granddaughter actually likes the fact that someone's name is in the book. We've had to invent a back story for him! The illustrations are great, the story is good for reading aloud but sensitive 4 year olds may find it a little scary so maybe not a bedtime read.

My six-year-old grandson adores these Captain Flinn books and now has them all. Each time he received one as a gift he began to read it immediately. I don't like them much but now he is able to read them quite easily on his own I don't have to read them! His parents still read them to him as a bed-time story and no doubt can recite them verbatim by now.

I bought this for my son for his 4th birthday and he loves it. The story is good although the pictures may be a bit scary looking but they didn't seem to bother him. A good book with plenty going on and just the right length. Would recommend.

Got this for my young grandson (4 years old) as there was a show of the story on which I was taking him to so this was a great introduction for him as to what to expect. It's a great little story with pirates & dinosaurs - what's not to like ??
