these cameras work as intended. the only reason for 4 stars is due to the instructions not being clear. to be clear the camera requires you to buy a data plan, which is a little expensive. it also offers the option to buy cloud storage which is not the same as data, just a heads up

The picture on this camera is excellent and the Pan-Tilt-Zoom works great. We have had 3 people all logged in at the same time viewing up and down the beach with no problems. We put this 4G Solar camera on a beach where there is no electricity. We were worried that the solar would not give it enough power to stay on and that the 4G service would be too weak. But, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the camera never lost connection. It wakes up quickly when you open the app on your phone and the app is very easy to use. The support service is exceptional also. I have had several questions that I emailed to their their customer support and they have gotten back to me each time in less than 24 hours with the answers and suggestions I needed. I have owned many different brands of outdoor security cameras for many years and I think this one has been the easiest one to set up and the quickest to get using of all my cameras. And, it has not quit working for any reason. Thanks for a great camera and support team.

We bought several of these cameras to put around our place. This is perfect because it allows us purchase data/internet as needed when we don't have wifi. It also allows us to charge the camera via it's own mini solar panel. Things I like about these cameras: camera and components are well-built, easy set up and install, HD mode for higher clarity, turn and tilt with various speed options, 2-way talk where you can speak into the phone and into the camera, option to turn on lights at night and that will give colors at night, option to turn off camera on/off indicator, motion detection with low, med, and high sensitivity detection, this has been been through rain and shine and it still operates well, optional cloud or sd card storage of detection events, can record and take photos, and able to share access to friends and family members.

IMO, this camera is not good. It’s Slow to pick up movement and slow to load. By the time it picked up someone walking across my yard they were almost out of the frame. I tried various settings. I would say go with a different camera. Unfortunately, I bought in Dec and did not get around to putting it up until a couple months later, otherwise I would have returned.

We recently bought this solar security camera to install on our property in an area where the WiFi signal does not reach. After carefully following the directions, the camera connected to the 4G signal using the provided SIM card. The camera uses AT&T, T-mobile towers network. The set up was fairly easy and the actual installation was easy as well.So far the camera has been working fine. The motion detection is working as expected and we’re happy with the picture quality as well as the night vision. Don't try mounting the camera with the solar cells attached to the camera. The install is much easier if you mount the camera first and then attach the solar cells afterwards. I will be buying more of these cameras, and I would recommend them to everyone. The customer service is worth every penny spent on this cellular camera.

I really like this camera. Right out of the box, we charged it and ran up to our rural mountain property to give it a test. I mounted the camera in a good location where it has a good cellphone signal for it to work. The SIM card that came with the camera can work well.The QR scan for the camera itself is on the camera housing between the two antennas. Once we set it up, it connected immediately! I did not want the lights to ever come on and spook our deer, so I read the reviews and changed the settings like someone else had mentioned to override the lights and that worked perfect as well! I have it set to record to the cloud (free 7 day trial) and my SD card. The videos are very clear. The motion detection simply works.Good camera for the price! I will be buying more of these cameras and I would recommend them to everyone.

We bought this camera for monitoring a wild hog trap. It has worked so well for that and the data is so cheap for what we use it for we plan on changing all our game and trail cameras to these instead of traditional game cameras. The only complaint is that we get a lot of notifications due to shadows but that has as much to do with the way we set it us as anything else and since there is not charge per picture like traditional game cameras it isn't a big deal. I would recommend this camera.

I would like to use this camera as security and monitoring for a hunting camp, however can't figure out how to activate it. Instructions on installation are totally inadequate. I've spent a couple of hours so far trying to figure it out, reading the quick start guide and FAQ's on the website; even tried YouTube videos.Update: The seller has been very responsive, and has provided a full refund while allowing me to keep the camera. I was advised the data card had been used up and I would need to buy more data to activate the camera, but I have not attempted to do this yet.
