Very good. Gives good support. Doesn’t stop the pain completely but does help.

I have a long history of problems with knees, hips and feet. I'm about to have an operation that will make me keep my left foot off the ground for six months, leaving me to hop around on crutches and my right leg only. And it's just at this point that the fibula in my right knee decides to dislocate and play up. I have a few weeks to sort it out or I'll be stuck, completely immobile. In desperation I decided to buy this fairly heavy duty knee brace but I didn't hold out much hope for a miracle cure. Ordering and delivery were swift, easy and the brace arrived much more quickly than I had expected. OK, now this is the part where I sound like the 'stooge' at a faith healer show. I wore this brace for one full day and I really felt the benefit. It did feel very bulky and distinctly odd and I realised that I hadn't positioned it perfectly on this first outing. But the real surprise was when I got home at the end of the day and took it off. My weak knee felt 50 times better than it had that morning. And it didn't wear off; I felt a real and permanent improvement. So, next morning, I was a bit more careful about positioning it just right and it felt much more comfortable and less obtrusive all day. That night there was a further improvement. Now I know that this doesn't count as a 'miracle cure' but, boy, am I impressed! To be clear; I don't have a debilitating injury and I think that I just needed a bit of proper support to help my knee heal itself and, for that, this knee brace has performed brilliantly. Although one of the more up market braces (heavier and with metal hinges), the cost pales into insignificance compared to what it has done to help me. And it won't exactly beak the bank in the first place. I have read reviews saying that, after a while, you don't notice that you're wearing it. Well that hasn't been true for me and, on me, it is pretty bulky, but that's a tiny compromise for getting my mobility back and ridding myself of the constant and nagging ache in my knee. I've had this particular knee injury for more than four months and it just wasn't getting any better. There may be other products out there that do the same thing, possibly more cheaply; I don't know because I haven't tried anything but this. What I can say is that this brace really, really, worked (and continues to work) for me and, as fully paid up cynic, I'm amazed!

A bit bulky under trousers but comfortable to wear.and stays in place. Supports the knee joint as described making walking easier and less painful. Quick and helpful response from the seller when I asked a question before buying.

I've had problems with my knee for years(over 30) and honestly this knee support is the best I've ever tried!!! I've tried other Neo G knee supports over the years, which were very good but this is honestly so different!!Amazing for going up stairs and giving that extra support and confidence! I have suffered from Tendonitis in my right knee for quite some time. I have had great difficulty walking and bending the knee and have had to resort to using crutches. I have tried a myriad different ways to achieve some form of comfort but have had no success. A suggestion from a friend led me to investigate the world of kneebraces. I say world because there are literally hundreds of them. I chose the Neo G Medical Grade Patella Kneebrace because it fell exactly within a wish list of must-haves that I had drawn-up. Must be a universal fit for varying sizes; must be universal for left of right knee; must be washable; must have side hinges and metal supports; must be easy to fit without recourse to threading foot through and pulling up the leg into position; give sufficient support to achieve necessary comfort: comfort being the operative word. I have been wearing this kneebrace for a week now and can say, in all honesty, that it does all that it says on the box. I have had tremendous relief. I can now walk without crutches and bend my knee slightly. Hopefully the affected tendons are now healing as there is now no untoward strain being put on them. I thoroughly recommend this marvellous devise to anyone with a similar affliction to mine.

Recommended by a friend, this is superb! I twisted my right knee about 2 years ago playing badminton and was unable to play for over a year. Then I got this and it had helped me get back to what I love. Although my knee is currently not hurting, I have hyper-mobility, especially in my right knee, meaning it can move too much in the joint. This brace gives my knee much needed stability so I can continue to play badminton with the confidence that it won't twist and tear again!

I found these way too bulky and big. My legs are quite slim and I think these supports are better suited to men's legs. It's worth knowing that they cannot be returned, so be sure they are right for you before ordering.

After months of great pain and swelling made worse each time I walked, I decided to try this knee brace. I needed a brace which prevented my knee from twisting and from going too far to the rear (ovet extending). I am fat. I have fat thighs. I wad worried that the brace wouldn't fit. It does fit with a good length on tube straps to spare. The brace is very comfortable and having worn it 24hrs a day for a week both at rest and waking born on the flat, up and down steep hills and on stairs I can say I have found a relief from both pain and swelling. The brace stops both twisting and overt extension when worn tight enough. One grumble is that though overall the materials and construction is good one of the pockets for the hinge was not stitched correctly and the hinge doesn't quite sit right. You have to wear a skirt or really baggy trousers/jeans if you want to conceal the brace. Overall very pleased.

I have used a mcdcvid knee brace, which was excellent. This knee brace is even better for me for a number of reasons: 1. It keeps my knee very stable. I play racquetball and that is the main time I use a knee brace. When I play, my knee stays right in place and I typically feel no soreness during or after playing. 2. Fits left or right knee. This works great on both knees. 3. Don't get scratched by the velcro. One of my gripes with the McDavid is that if i wear it on my right knee, it scratches up the left knee. This happens because some of the velcro doesn't fit on the strip and just hangs. This thing is designed nicely so that the velcro all sticks on to the brace. 4. Tight or loose. Some days when my knee is feeling sore I will really compress it tight. This allows me to do that just by pulling the velcro straps tight. It stays just fine and doesn't loosen at all. On the flip side I can put on a bit looser when needed. It is quite adjustable. 5. Not a slip on. The brace can be put on and removed with your shoes still on. Several designs don't do that and I understand that it is for the sake of compression and support. Makes sense but this brace still does a good job of maintaining those things while still be capable of being removed with shoes on. 6. Plastic coverings. The metal supports connect at a very solid plastic hinge. The plastic is nice because it doesn't run the risk of cutting up my legs or possibly other people should I accidentally bump into them. 7. Solid construction. I've had this for a few months already and it seems to be holding up just fine to the abuse I'm heaping on it when I play sports and so forth. Thus far, I haven't been able to see any bad things about it. I'll keep an eye out in case something changes my mind.
