So good I bought another
I have two of these now. I liked the first one so much for working on the car in the garage I bought one to keep in the car in case I have to change a tire at night.

Nice bright lite, or the red light which works good also. Can't go wrong.Haven't had it long enough to judge the battery life.

If you own any other headlamp yo are missing out
I hike everyday at 4:30 am here and AZ and this headlamp has never let me down once. I love the rechargeable battery and also have used regular batteries as well. I will never use another headlamp for as long as I hike.

Overall a Very Good Head Lamp
This is a very nice head lamp. It works well. The lamp can be adjusted from straight ahead or angled downward. The angle is maintained by detents that work fine if you are not playing contact sports. Battery life is very good. Comfortable to wear. I would buy again.

Perfect for my needs
I use this thing almost everywhere. The lantern is absolutely AWESOME if you’re on a ladder in a ceiling running cable or patching connections. Also perfect for camping and hiking. Get the CORE battery and you will not be disappointed. I did a lot of research and came down to this and black diamond head lamps. Very glad I chose Petzel; they’re well known in construction for a reason!!This lamp has given me zero issues in the 6 months or so I have owned it. Perfect all around everyday headlamp.

Core battery not included
My own fault for not asking first but I was under the impression this came with the rechargeable core battery. Same price as the ones that do, says batteries included but that meant (3) AAA batteries. Misleading and very disappointing

Diese Petzl Stirnlampe hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Sie bietet eine beeindruckende Helligkeit und eignet sich perfekt für alle Situationen, in denen man klare Sicht braucht. Das Tragegefühl ist angenehm, auch über mehrere Stunden hinweg. Besonders positiv fällt die lange Batterielaufzeit auf – selbst bei intensiver Nutzung halten die Batterien viel länger als erwartet. Rundum eine zuverlässige Stirnlampe, die jeden Cent wert ist!

Very powerful multi-mode head torch. Finding the red-light function takes some practice, but once you've got used to it it's easy. Quality kit.
