I didn't open it for a couple of weeks, so I didn't notice that it was already a month out of date when it arrived. The mixture did not smell like henna, it was a bit acrid, it was also dark brown instead of green, but I tried it anyway. It was gritty and unpleasant to use and it took a very long time both to apply and wash out. I left it on for 24 hours as my hair is naturally red, though greying a little and I wanted to brighten it up, as I know that red is the hardest shade to colour. However, even after 24 hours, it did not change the colour of my hair at all and it did not improve the condition of my hair in any way. I can't say for certain, but I'm not convinced that it was actually henna.This company is selling out of date products, which should be banned. Total waste of money.

I read lots of reviews of different hennas on Amazon. Wanted bright red hair. Was expecting just that, having left it on longer. Oddly when washed off, I seem to have gone from red hair, with grey roots, to almost blond all over!!! Was a bit of a shock. Day later it's a kind of ginger.Wont buy again.I don't have permanent hair colour on my hair, and previous colours used were temporary, so had expected Henna to work properly. Will go to Lush next time.

Just used this and it has'nt covered my grey hairs at all. Really dissappointed

I had. As you can see, about 4 cm of blondish roots. I have needed to henna my hair (as I have done for 15 years, not new to this) for weeks, but I was busy, lazy...I have to attend an important event, which was last minute, so I ordered this assuming henna, is henna. It could ship overnight.It arrived this morning. It was hard to open, because the seal sticker aroma the top would not come off. See photo. After 20 minutes, I got it open and noticed that inside was a bit damp, the inside was spotted with dark stuff and there was only one glove. The henna looked sealed in the inside bag and I was desperate to do this hair. So I tried it. First, since I was suspicious, I weighed it. 9.2 ounces! It says It contained 16!Fast forward, put it on my hair. Decided to read the reviews... should have done that before I ordered. So many people had the same experience. I saw that many found a label over the original... I did too. This expired 2 years ago!Fast forward... rinsed and guess what? After ll that this "henna" did not color my roots AT ALL!I, now, have to run to the beauty supply store (drug stores never carry red or auburn) , with wet hair, to buy that stuff to temporarily cover your roots... it is like mascara for roots. ,$22.50. I will have paid 32.50, plus WA State 9.5% sales tax, then buy more #&%! Henna!Lessons of this are: Do not let your roots get this bad and ALWAYS READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!

Llevo utilizando Henna años y esta es la peor que que he probado hasta ahora, después de dos horas puesta el pelo se ha quedado igual.

Worst Produkt ever. When i received the package it looked ok, but when i unpacked it, the foile bag inside was broken, henna was spilt and fungus was growing on it. Most disgusting smell. Do not ever buy this product. I have added the picture, you can see the white fungus, mold growing on it. I do not even want to give any stars. I had to throw it away. All my money down the drain.

War sehr skeptisch nach den durchwachsenen Bewertungen und dann sehr überrascht, wie gut und natürlich rot die Farbe dann wird.Sieht toll aus !!!Bin wirklich sehr erfahren im Färben mit Henna. Ich selber habe mittelblondes Haar, nur die Ansätze gefärbt, ins trockene Haar die fertige Paste verteilt und 1,5 Stunden gewartet, ausgespült und nicht am gleichen Tag mit Shampoo, sondern erst am nächsten Tag mit Shampoo nach gewaschen. Von all meinen Versuchen, mit Pulver zu färben, ist das bis jetzt mein bestes Ergebnis überhaupt geworden.Ich würde auch 10 Punkte geben, einfach natürlich und perfekt in der Farbe und auch günstig, mehr geht nicht !!!

Nevermind the issues I had with receiving an exploded container, once I did recieve it.. (which the company sent me 2, so i was very happy) I was excited to get my hair done. I've been using henna on my red hair for the last year, as my natural color has faded a lot, and it helps cover my few Grey's. I thought this would be a more convenient option. Not only did this product not even dye my hair... but I lost a sustaintial amount of hair washing it out. A total fail. Please don't waste your money - get some regular ol henna and mix it yourself.
