and its best to be prepared for any eventuallity
I bought this jig to enable me to accurately install any drawer runners I may have to fit. As a kitchen fitter all drawer installations are usually already designed into the kitchen plan, but customers are want to change these plans without notice, and its best to be prepared for any eventuallity ...ie a request for a drawer fitted inside of a base unit cabinet (the width of the drawer can usually be easily accommadated) and now the positioning of the drawer runners can easily be fitted accurately with the help of this great jig! So far I'm holding this jig in reserve, but have no doubt it will eventually come into it's own and be immensly usefull to me !! (just nice to know that it's there to help me when needed and speed up the install?).

Works like a treat
Easiest drawer slides I ever installed thanks to this jig. Definitely recommend for anyone that gets frustrated installing a drawer slide without a jig.

Best of the bunch.
I have tried a few jigs now and this is the best one.One issue is the jig covers one of the fixing holes in short guides, so it has to be fixed tight by one screw and then the jig has to be removed to fix the other screw. Obviously there is a chance the guide will move when the jig is removed. The only other small issue is the guide can fall out if the jig is tilted as it isn't gripped very tight. Maybe a magnet on the side of the jig would help.On the plus side, the alignment is easy and the adjustable foot works well to provide extra support and repeat alignment.

Just as fiddly as the old fashioned way
I was really rooting for this guy.I hate fitting draws it's always a pain. They should come up with slides that fix to the cabinet with screws but then have screw-less adjustment clips or something.Anyway. Maybe I'm just not very good at using this thing and more use of it would make it a useful tool. But in the end I didnt really get any better results with this than just using a tape measure and level...It was a handy way to hold the slides but for me it just changed the type of fiddle, rather than removing the fiddle....if that makes sense

Great but could still be improved
Perfect for holding drawer slide initially, a spirit bubble level on the top would make this perfect.
