It will do the job of making holes in leather belts and related leather goods. Some good quality leather may require good amount of pressure to make the hole or even make hole on both sides but it does the job without spoiling the belt. Why I give four stars and not five is for two reasons - first the hole selector is difficult to turn, it could be made smoother with a small handle on the outside and the other reason is in the picture the product colour is red and black but the real product is red and steel coloured. Definitely a sturdy product. You will at first need to figure out the size of the hole. However, if the hole you have made is small than the hole on the belt, simply redo it with a bigger needle on the same hole.
