I have installed into the decking and they flash, which isn't ideal** A: Hi Simon B, The lights should not be flashing. How many lights have you got running on the transformer and is the flash consistent or intermittent? Also have you checked that all of the arrows between the connections are matching. If you look closely, these should be visible. Kind regards, Tom Martin-Hall **Q: can i fit a pir sensor to these lights as i want to fit them under ny house canopy and use a pir to switch then on and off ?** A: Hello, not recommended as in the past we found the pir robs the supply voltage as the lights run a very low 12 volts for safety and they sometimes fail to illuminate. This from past experience. There are special pir designed for led but not something we stock.. regards **Q: Can you tell me what IP rating these lights are please. For outside use, they should really be IP65.** A: These particular lights are IP44 and suitable for outside use. The Transformer is not however and would need to be put in a waterproof plug socket or plug in inside. **Q: Can these be installed into soil?** A: No reason why not although given the potential dampness of soil an IP65 kit may be suitable. Also with soil there would be no fixing to ensure the head stays in the right direction. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very nice lights *by M***K on 9 June 2015* All worked perfectly and where very easy to instal into my decking and raised flower beds. Just the right size for normal decking boards. You will need a 22m bit to cut out the holes in the board. My lights came with a mirrored effect surround so look nice and shiny even when not turned on in the day. The three led lights in each give out a very strong white light which i think is a bit harsh if you stare at them but other than that they are a very good buy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright & easy *by T***E on 7 May 2016* These are nice looking flush mount decking lights,They were very easy to install & took no time at all,There's plenty of cable to the first light(about 5 mtr),then about a metre between lights ,fitting instructions recommend a max of no wider than 800mm apart but I installed mine closer,These lights are a very bright white,brighter than I was expecting with a thin polished chrome surround, which is my only concern as to if they might rust or not,only time will tell,My overall view is these lights are well worth the money and the look very good too, would buy again ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thumbs up, i like them *by S***E on 16 January 2019* Lovely lights, nice and bright, not fitted both sets yet but other tested ok. Easy to fit (once you get over hour trial and error discussion on spacing!) The little arrows on the plugs could be a bit better highlighted but thats no reason to knock them.
